It's common in music and art in general to copy others but when it is this derivative and so completley blatant to the point where you can't stop thinking about it that's when all you can do is laugh at it.

So the issue is that he sounds like his influences? You people do realize that originality does not equate to quality, right? You also realize that Dylan just ripped off Woody Guthrie, right? And he was far more influential than The Velvet Underground. Why? Because The Velvet Underground tried too hard to be original and didn't focus enough on the quality of the songs. They absolutely wrote some great tracks -- but there's far more than belongs in the garbage than in anyone's eardrums. So, yeah, you guys need to rethink this argument.
