@crooked09 Death definitely evolved more imo but whoever said that they were generic needs to take a step back and literally fuck their own face. definitely fit into the stereotypical death metal role (they were one of it's founders though so duh) but they definitely knew how to mix shit up til that newest album i don't even know what the fuck that was.

The only problem with the album is the guitar tone. Sounds to weak,polished, and digital, not really all that beefy like covenant and gateways. But it is still a kick ass album

This album was alright but the quality of recording is hilarious compared to the previous album. Why though?

both bands have satanic lyrics, neither are really satanic. they use it to express their disgust with religion. so, no. deicide doesnt hate god because they dont believe in a god.

Morbid Angel's music and lyrics are so excellent.
Other metal bands don't come close for me.
I like how they've strayed from the more satanic-oriented
lyrics that they used to have. Even back then though their stuff wasn't as bad as some bands. That doesn't do anything for me.

those bands you mentioned are shit compared to the greats like Morbid Angel, Death, Obituary, Pestilence and if you want a good harmony listen to Carcass Heartwork, that was before Mike Amott became a faggot and started Arch Enemy

Are you serious? I've covered "Cleansed in pestilence" by Morbid angel. Check it out, and then come back and tell me that I can't replicate Morbid Angel riffs.

This is probably the worst, yet at the same time, the best song on the Heretic album. The song is bad when it comes to an overall harmony and the tempo changes are very scattered and uneven. It's the best when it comes to the brutality of the song itself and Steve Tucker's vocals.

Awesome. My favorite song from the album. Great album dispite all the unfavorible backlash. I'm a Morbid Angel fan no matter what.
