Morbid Angel - Too Extreme! Lyrics
Panic...
This is your one warning...
Pounding, pounding... You feel it
Scorching weakened hearts be troubled
They scream we're too extreme
We come to spread our insane
This doctrine chaos chaos
Demanding nothing less but to
Make you scream we're too extreme
Tu corazón latiendo
Te sientes el dolor
Tu gritas... Extreme!
Welcome to your new religion
We come collecting souls
You come to sing our praises
Together selfless
We are your new religion
No religion
Extreme!
De sud America
A puertas de oro athens
A la quema inframundo
Conmigo... Extreme
Visión sufrirá
Orejas derretirá
Bese su nueva creencia
Es nombre extreme
We are your new religion
No religion
You come to us in torment
And we make your bodies heave
Our sounds invoke your demon
Together too extreme!

Yo he bailado cosas peores. Pete y tu donde estabas?¿ V:
listens to KMFDM once
Blame Vincent all you want but that guitar is Trey. You can trace every single part if it back to Altars. Not the finest lyrics but the actual song is Trey Azagthoth 🤷♂️
too shit for my taste
I like it considering I've been a fan since 1987
It's 2019 and this is still one of the most hilarious songs I've ever heard. The "spanish" lyrics make me die of laughter.
David Tildemann
Sounds like Dimmu Borgir.
I feel strange from liking this song. The "EXTREMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" screams are fucking badass however.
Too extreme? More like too much DRUM MACHINE amirite ladies?
To be honest i do enjoy the "We are your new religion, no religion" part, especially the chanting that comes after, unfortunately the rest of the lyrics are really bad
Well sadly I know how to play this song ill put up tabs soon
Spanish lirycs
Ok, after 8 years, and hearing it again, this is garbage and didn't age well at all. At least we have old Morbid Angel albums that are still awesome.
is this Al Jourgensen after a concussion or something??
I'm a Tucker-era fan; but today I somehow felt like listening to this
If this wasn't Morbid Angel, people probably would've loved this album and sung it's praises. I mean heavy metal fans scream how good old Morbid was and who was heavy and faster, yet the majority listen to commercial metal like Metallica and Ghost. I don't mind this. Its different.
For all the whiners and crybabies saying that this isn't "brutal" or "extreme" enough for them. Enjoy some "Desolate Ways" to soothe your butthurtedness.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZPKBAnkEaE
But the song title is "Too Extreme".
Therefore I feel we are owed a minimum level of extreme that is not offered by this song.
Don't forget that original vocalist David Vincent was in the industrial metal group The Genitorturers. Underrated album, it was quite different from their earlier work. The best albums are the first four with Dave. Altars, Blessed, Covenant, and Domination. Entangled in Chaos is a decent live album.
MORBID ANGEL IS TOO EXTREME!!!
Úgy is halálra itél !!!
One of the best Ministry songs I ever heard.
No pues si está bien Extremo. Jajajaja. Suena a Reggaeton satánico
WOW! MI CORAZON ESTA LATIENDO PORQUE SIENTO EL TREMENDO DOLOR!! SIENTO LA LOCURA Y ESTOY GRITANDO.........................
EXTREMOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
XDDDDDDDDDDD
What's this, a deathcore attempt?
ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ개웃곀ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
This shit is a blasphemy for death metal.
Trey got full of himself and started writing shit music
EXTREME MUSIC FOR EXTREME PEOPLE!
1:47 The moment this became the worst.
Ikr, would've loved to hear a bit of spanish lyrics in ANY Morbid Angel record but this one...
This is morbid angel in a mario bros game
Not good album, but i like this song! hahahaha.
And i think this like Groove Death Metal maybe.
Esto volvió cristiano a Pete Sandoval.
Old Morbid Angel is better. I am the 1.000th dislike.
Mekkora király! Ennyi!
wena David Vincent locooooooo
Morbid Angel play Rammstein
All arguments aside, I can't believe that they went with Too Extreme! as a song name. Almost anything else would have been better lmao
Don't forget this track was written by Trey.
who thought this was a good idea?
I dont know if you are all aware of this: Trey wrote this track all by himself.
What the fuck were they thinking?
Illud Divinum Insanus is grammatically incorrect Latin.
I simply cannot imagine that metal dudes might hubristically do something erroneously.
It should be either "Illud Divinum Insanum" or "Ille Divinus Insanus".
Its sad to thumbs down Morbid angel song..... My first extreme metal concert in the early 2000s, changed my life. I was so excited when I found out this album came out, cause I love Morbid angel, but when this came on, I threw it out the window. Its painful hearing it while I type this. I'm gonna go listen to altars of madness now.
Laibach & GGFH...
nothing new...90/2000 full of such music
The moral of this story is don't let Vincent write your lyrics. Also Morbid - Sandoval = a bif naff.
This is cringy
The lyrics......
the freaking lyrics....
Been laughing non stop since the album release.
Whats more hated? Illud Divinum Insanus or St.Anger?
_St. Anger_ because far more people know Metallica and may have heard it at one point.
i am not a death metal fan, but when i try to listen to them, i like this one. i know to some of you in comments, this is not true death metal, but after all i can take this one. and i appreciate morbid angel
You like it because it's not death metal
so che siete qui per Matteo Fumagalli
beccata...
la signora irwin idem 😂
i would like to see this song played live and why the hell is it over 6 mins long?
It's always odd to me how a band can't experiment without angering fans. Such a unique album. Probably my favorite Morbid Angel record.
@Kevin Berry check out the dislike bar and see that his opinion is shared by many. Including me. This album was ASS.
@Snarl616
Whatever helps you validate your opinion. I just have mine and it's not influenced by what the "popular vote" is.
@Snarl616: Except God Hates Us All is a much worse album than Diabolus in Musica. Diabolus had this weird, freaky semi-industrial, pseudo Korn inspired undercurrent that actually enhanced the album's sound. GHUS, however, was Slayer going full Slipknot, which was a really terrible idea.
As for Morbid Angel making an experimental album, they should've teamed up with Merzbow to make a "death metal noise album", took notes from Godflesh and Ministry for an Industrial style or hell...made a total grindcore/free form jazz inspired nightmare with some help from John Zorn if they really wanted to experiment. Going Combichrist was a really, really fuckin' bad idea.
Yes but if you are one of the world leaders in that musical genre, why would you want to experiment, especially after 8 years of silence?
Also, some forms of experimentation are just wrong and freedom of thought is not an excuse. It's like putting a Chevy engine on a classic Mustang and paint it pink. It's original, but nobody will like it.
Kevin Berry expirmentation doesnt mean its good. This song is boring as fuck, the lyrics are awful. Im all for new stuff and expirmenting means talking a gamble but that doesnt protect something from being god awful. If you like ot sweet but cmon how boring is every part of this song. The drums are awful and the guitars are buried in the mix
this song is Too Bad!!
In all honesty it's not *bad*, it's just subpar for Morbid Angel and there is far better industrial death metal like Fear Factory and Strapping Young Lad. It could also be far more extreme if they just upped the tempo a bit. :P
I think where people go wrong is assuming Morbid Angel are incredible musicians. They are a talented group (past members included) but they are a death metal act. It's more than likely that an industrial metal band is going to do better industrial than a death metal band. I personally really liked *Illud Divinium Insanus* and I would love it if they made another one down the road. Given the response from fans though I'm guessing it probably wont happen. Plus, last I heard Tuck was back in the band and that probably means something along the lines of another *Gateways To Annihilation*.
They still haven't done anything since this album. Bit of a shock.
@ganondorfchampin
I'm kind of suprised as well. Maybe they are waiting for the heat to completely die off from this album so the next one can be judged more evenly.
New album this year!
Yup. Back to the traditional death metal sound.
this is One Of The most fucking awful I've heard... I love it
oh no :-O
Those "Spanish" lyrics...
HASTA EL CULO
I love the lyrics WE ARE YOURE NEW RELIGION!, NO RELIGION!
and when starts screaming in a different language,it rocks.
The lyrics are shit man, I speak Spanish and the Spanish part is ridiculous!
The spanish lyrics makes no sense at all, terrible.
When steve tucker left, this band was done.
People were saying that back when Dave Vincent first left the band.
@Kevin Berry Yeah and his return brought this garbage
@Cory Lowther
The album was mostly written by Trey. He's the one who loves all the dubstep and electronic stuff. He's even a part-time DJ at dance clubs. He was the guy who pushed for the *Illud Divinium Insanus* remix album with all the dub artists. I'm not saying David doesn't have an impact on the album, he certainly does, but just because he rejoined from Genetorturers doesn't mean he's the soul party responsible for it.
OH MY GOD my computer is infected with a virus!!! What do I do no...no wait, it's just the new Morbid Angel album...
Okay, while it's pretty obvious that this is like a horrible piece of shit straight out of a dirty toilet bowl, let me elaborat...
Wait what???
SIX MINUTES? Am I imagining things or is this really six minutes long? Like it wasn't enough that you actually MADE this, you had to make it SIX FUCKING MINUTES LONG? WHAT?!
although it's kinda funny (dont hurt me plz)
Sounds like a really shitty remix of Ministry song
+Ivan Malek Yeah like they are trying to do Ministry or Skinny Puppy.
@Jocko Jonson: This is nothing like Ministry or Skinny Puppy.
This is fucking Combichrist tier bullshit.
FUCKING AWSOME!!!
My ears! They're bleeding! Seriously though, there are some decent tracks on this album, but this is not one of them.
jajajajaaj fucking trv
I can imagine how the die-hard Morbid Angel fans must feel
I'm pissed
I'm not a die hard morbid angel fan, and this is still shit
This is a total crap.
This is awkward.
Ok. I like Morbid Angel but what the fuck is this? Someone must be playing a practical joke? I went to Covenant to clear my head from this crap. still smh!
+GodofStar Executioner Lou Anyone has Treys words on this?
Why does this even exist?
First sentance in this track sets up the entire album too b honest...... 🔥⛪️🔥
Holy Shit sounds like Covenant, Hellraiser (the movie) and Morbid Angel combined!!!!
To be honest,I like this song.
İf you are saying that album is bad... take your fucking insturments and go to the studio you simple minded fuckers.
Album is fine.
@Kerry King Almost thought this was serious, until I saw your name. Well played.
@Spraypainsos What did you mean by that comment? I didnt understand anything...
This is the best comedy album I've heard in years. Although Ten More Dead wasn't TOOOO bad.
The song is a shit to be Morbid Angel , and te album too , but the song is funny and stupid, and I like it
Awesome band...
Awesome song...
Fucking nostalgiafags.
Hehehe trolling hehe 2016. You're a real card hehe.
Derpy hooves Well, you're entitled to your opinion. So I'm entitled to my opinion that I didn't like this track (along with "Destructos vs. the Earth/Attack", "Profundis - Mea Culpa", & "Radikult").
I just got through listening to the album & I thought it was pretty good except for the aforementioned tracks.
lol Stupid hipster pretending to like this song.
dude this sounds like a fart out of a European's ass from 1997
Finally mustered the courage to listen to this song after 3 years, this was my reaction:
0:30 Ok, so far so good
0:36 ... What?
1:22 "Pounding pounding you feel it burning burning"... WHAT? *confused smile*
1:31 "We come to spread our insane this doctrine chaos chaos" Ok, now you're just fucking around with me
2:10 Now that I notice, WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THOSE BEATS?
3:27 Was that supposed to be a solo?
4:58 Ditto
5:22 "We are your new religion" I think I'll stick with atheism, thank you very much
6:13 Ok, I'm back to Blessed Are The Sick, see you
David Vincent sounds like Bill Cosby coughing up a hairball on this album.
Lol. This shit is funny.
Too extremely bad
i don't hate this as much as i did the first time i listened to it. the cheezy sample selections are a problem, especially that fucking drill sound and it's structured rather poorly, but at least they're having fun with it? better they make music they enjoy, even though it's poor, than go through the motions over and over or try and be more commercial.
I read the lyrics to this piece of shit. Its David Vincent's ego stroke for Morbid Angel. His lyrics are like if Morbid Angel is some sort of Futuristic New World Order of Death Metal.
Radikult
"'Cause we've been crossing the line since 1989
We're moving the world
Because our power is a shining
Sick groove with fucking magic to prove that
The radicals are here to stay!"
I Am Morbid? is this like the chant, the Morbid Angel anthem? LOL what a sad joke
What the fuck was David Vincent thinking? did he see this album as some epic post apocalyptic album.
Too Extreme LULZ!!
We are your new religion
No religion
Our sounds invoke your demon
Together too Extreme!
like fans were gonna be like. fuck yeah were too extreme and down with morbid angel
please guys listen to this song a few times before spitting on it ...
why does everybody hate this? I kinda like it =/
Most people hate bands that change their sound THIS much xD
Because after 10 years of hiatus, people were expecting the usual death metal from this band. They changed to industrial metal because of David Vincent's wife. I guess some of her influence rubbed off on him. I personally don't mind that they changed sound as long as it was good. This is not good. It sounds like a generic industrial metal record, the lyrics are too cheesy and typical. Honestly, it sounds more like a death metal band trying to figure out what industrial sounds like. I actually prefer the remix album of this rather than the actual record it's based off on.
@kay b Because it sounds garbage.
I don't hate it because it's not death metal. I hate it because this song is called Too Extreme haha
Nope guys, not extreme at all.
Extremely shitty
I love how nobody addresses the fact the album was a joke album. As in, the songs were silly. Maybe LISTEN TO THEM and moreover think about the lyrics? Super serious. In other words, TOO EXTREEEEME
@Mikeoneus
Destructos Vs. The World.
You think they were trying to be serious?
Yes. First of all, I don't know what that song is supposed to prove. What am I supposed to be noticing? Secondly, this is an album from a legendary death metal band that fans were waiting eight years for. Are you suggesting this is supposed to be an ironic album? What sense does that make?
@Mikeoneus I'm not saying I understand the motive behind it being a joke album (assuming I'm right about that). It seems like a really cruel joke.
Also, I just pointed that song out in particular because it's especially silly.
Also also, just saying (to be a dick), I kind of like this song. Now to drone on about Limp Bizkit and similar trash.
Yeah, they take months and months to write, produce and tour a 'joke' album. That is some serious mental gymnastics.
@Pa Ul
Like no artist ever made a joke album
This song is one of the best! Very catchy, excellent vocal work and I love the heavy groove feel along with the effects
If you don't like it just shut the fuck up and say hey it's not for me. At least they kept making heavy music and didn't go mainstream like Metallica with acoustic guitars and soft shit. You have to respect them for doing what they wanted and taking risks instead of just recycling the same old material 80 times in a row like some bands do
Respect them? They almost destroyed their own career with this album.
This reminds me of King Julien from Madagascar singing "I like to move it" HAHAHAHAHA
Tell me thats a joke ._.
Alex Leffeörthovää Nope ._.
