Lately I've been obsessed with drums, and it's because of Pete. It's the whole reason I got into Morbid Angel too. So much talent in metal it's staggering sometimes.

The Knight Patriot There arr many MA songs with excellent drumming, but the stuff on Nothing is Not is so unbelievably raw. God damn, they really belted out some aggression on that one. I love the production on that FFF, sounded very natural.

I am actually happy that Steve is back in the band. I hope they come up with something like this - good and different death metal. The last album was so so terrible, it hurt.

Anton St the last album was something that would've come out between 1996-2001. I'm glad to see David Vincent is out if he's that stuck in the past.

There is no band. Steve came back a year ago and nothing. No songs, interviews, shows. The last album damaged the bands status big time. Trey should bring in Rutan and Steve, write a new album and drop the techno shit. Pay homage to the classics from each record and issue an apology- blaming that shit record on Vincent for sneaking into the studio at night and injecting dog shit into the recordings.

Steve Tucker was the Brian Johnson. The Bruce Dickinson. He was the front man that took the band to a good place without missing the old guy. David Vincent had nothing else going (Genitorturers flopped) so he got his old gig back. I would have liked to see where they would have gone with Steve and Erik. They brought magic to the band.

+St. Macarius I honestly liked Morbid Angel the most with this lineup. Just Steve, Trey, and Pete. Almost no band can beat this lineup. The only band I think comes close is Nile. Both my favorite all time bands, they both influence my band beyond words. The music they create is so beautiful, and timeless, it will be around LOOOONG after they're gone!

Great song, horrible video. Must have been really low on budget here... which is a shame. Lips barely match up and they do whatever they can to not show Tucker's face because it is easier just not to bother.

Why not just be thankful for the 3 albums that Tucker did with Morbid Angel and leave it at that. he had his epic time, as Vincent did. so whatever happens in the future, I don't believe his return would shake the progress of they're sound people hate much, if any. Trey is what it's about who knows what he is thinking. that's what I like about them and him. you never know what the next chapter will tell. likely Vincent for sure. I prefer Vincent, I think that the best stuff by Morbid Angel was the stuff with him. no doubt that the first 4 albums were the classics. the best who is to say, I'm gonna say Covenant is probably my favorite album aside. pick and choose songs off each ffttf,gateways and heretic were just too much of an unfamiliar sound for too long. yes, the stuff with Steve Tucker was great and beyond epic as well, to me those albums could never match up to the first 4 albums. altars-domination. that is Morbid Angel, to me. \m/ you know I wouldn't mind hearing what Tucker would do now as well. I can't think of one album I just couldn't listen to at all. even the newest hated release on the chop board for everyone who wants to hate on Vincent. well Vincent was the most significant vocalist. with at least altars-covenant. classic.

@Gospel969 It has some absolutely amazing riffs and the overall vibe (the production!) is borderline genious but song structures are waaaaay too simplistic, unfortunately. They defnitely were unto something with this record and they failed, but in a glorious way.

Problem with the album is that everyone seems to be freestyling without any musicianship whatsoever
