back in 2011I listened to this album and the path of totality by Korn on repeat all the time. I kinda wish this became a niche genre, but it died out. Probably for the best. Godflesh is still good though.

I actually like the industrial influenced songs on this album, which is this one and To Extreme because I like Industrial music as well as Death Metal, other than that the rest of the album is crap, but its always interesting to see bands go in different musical directions.

I think it's a great song, I can see where the hardcore veteran Morbid Angel fans aren't going to like it but hey it's got a great sound, perhaps they should delve into industrial, why do they have to stick to one sound? after all that's the beauty of metal.

you are crazy, its mediocre and super dated, sounds from the middle 90s, when many bands did much better industrial shit than this. Its an album that arrived 10-15 years late.

For Sure Death Metal is sooo 80s, every Death Metal album now is outdated. Sounds stupid, right?

My favorite album by MA is Domination and I hear all the time how that album sucks and it's usually because it doesn't sound like Alters or Blessed. I think bands have to experiment or they get burned out.

I seriously don't get what they were trying to do with this song. Industrial and techno fans would be turned off from it because there's still a bit too much of a death metal sound to it, and death metal fans hate it because there's too much cheesy techno and low-tier industrial in it.

I'm not a fan of the guitar sound on this album at all, its very diffused into the background, sounding more like ambient noise then guitar. If I want to hear a fan, on high speed sound, I will turn my on....play some guitar.

I've always considered this the most shitty Morbid Angel album, but I'm starting like some songs, including this one.

RaXzNL Word brother. These songs are growing with time..they're undeniably Morbid Angel.

This album aged well with me since its' release 
They got way too much shit for this record 

The album still sucks today imo. The guitar tone is too robotic, the drums are too shitty and programmed in sound. Its not just this and the other bad songs, I never liked the average production on the so called good songs.

Though it's not just metal fans that are close minded. Try incorporating some screams in a song aimed at jazz/blues fans. Or check out how close minded classical fans can be despite the fact that it's "supposed" to be an intelligent genre.

Once i fancied thought that metal fanbase are ones of the most intellectual music-lovers. I began to realize that the most of them (most of you, most of us) are dumb morons whatsoever when Kreator issued Renewal (very different & still absolutely unique) & the reaction was even worse than it is towards this masterpiece.
