I was watching Sean Spicer this week defending Trump and at the same time so proud of his Irish Heritage. Well I'm first generation and so proud to have been raised by a true Irish Man. My father had lots of friends of many different backgrounds. As a young girl the message was clear judge everyone individually. The Irish were once persecuted along with other Europeans not so long ago. I feel The Irish philosophy is to defend the persecuted, empathy to be exact. The Irish are not phony and are direct. People like Spicer who defend dishonesty should dig down to find their Irish Voice!
