I never thought I'd get to be a million
I never thought I'd get to be the thing

“2020 is yet another huge milestone for many of us who remember their first 1960 milestone and the forgotten 2000. What this next milestone will hold for us? One thing is for certain, what we do today will affect it... Be thankful for something We do today, what We began to build today, a positive habit We start to form today, a benevolent seed We plant today and the wonderful deeds We executed today... Hoooo yeah, we are not sure where all this take us in 2020, but for certain we know all this start today November 3-2018 and We are Grateful for everything. Thanks Master” Nick Catricala

Camping out on a deserted beach with my girl, lying in the cool sand staring up at a starry night, tripping on some micro dot, and the moody blues providing the music. How I miss the early 70s.

Listening to the Moody Blues is a refuge from a troubled world. Thank God for The Moody Blues.

  12. C.... ....

Justin Hayward needs to be cloned. Such a lovely man in music talent, in his mindset and his sharing of it. And he ain't bad-looking, either, but that's another matter. Seriously...the world NEEDS more men like Justin.

  13. M.... S....

I listen to this song like 10 times in a row

  14. I.... V....

There were all the bands around, and, yes I saw so and so, and all the others too, but when the Moody Blues were mentioned, Oh that's different. They are in another class. Far above on another plane. For me anyway. That's a different genre above the rest.

  15. d.... p....

    I'm 62 but when I listen to this, I'm 16 again

  16. N.... H....

    great song.

So so beautiful... Justin Hayward is amazing, always has been. Like the Moody Blues, he's always been underrated. So happy they finally got into the R&R Hall of Fame.

  19. B.... ....

    Warning: Hayward porn!

Sounds just like "The Inner Light" by The Beatles.

    Congratulations to them !!!!

  30. -.... J....

May seem sorta hokey of me to say but..
This song unearths something deep w/in the depths of my soul...

    -.... J....

    N. Joy I hear you.I’m proud to say I come from Birmingham U.K where most of this group come from.Watching And Waiting is also a beautiful song.I love the Moodies.

  31. A.... K....

What a truly amazing band, so incredibly talented! I attended 2 concerts back in 1990 and was blown away. The songs are absolutely beautiful, the lyrics are deep. They have had such an incredible career and have put out so many gems. The style is all their own and so unique and beautiful. I hope to see them one more time before they hang it up. They are simply one of the greatest and most talented bands ever! Greetings from Castle Rock, Colorado USA.

    A.... K....

Adrian Kline I’m proud to say that I come from Birmingham in the UK-where most of the Moody Blues also come from.Their music & lyrics are other-worldly.God Bless.

  32. H.... C....

    Wonderful!!!

  33. R.... ....

“All truths wait in all things,
They neither hasten their own delivery nor resist it,
They do not need the obstetric forceps of the surgeon,
The insignificant is as big to me as any,
(What is less or more than a touch?)

    Logic and sermons never convince,
The damp of the night drives deeper into my soul.

(Only what proves itself to every man and woman is so,
Only what nobody denies is so.)

A minute and a drop of me settle my brain,
I believe the soggy clods shall become lovers and lamps,
And a compend of compends is the meat of a man or woman,
And a summit and flower there is the feeling they have for each
    other,
And they are to branch boundlessly out of that lesson until it
    becomes omnific,
And until one and all shall delight us, and we them.“ Walt Whitman

  34. r.... o....

    A song about freedom ?

  35. o.... u....

    I never thought I'd live to 61.
    I pray that I don't live to 100.

    o.... u....

I hope to see eternity. There is such promise in existence.

    o.... u....

    @3675Chandra
Yes, but eternity on earth is not possible.
I hope I'm good enough to go to a much better place.

    o.... u....

3675Chandra eternity would take away any magic in the world. Part of what makes things like this so beautiful is the fact that at anytime we can get it all taken away. Really think about how boring it would be to have anything at your command. Think of video games. When you cheat to get everything, it gets boring fast.

  36. A.... D....

    Great post, great song.

    Thanks!

  37. g.... ....

Your video to this song are an absolutely delicious treat. Thank-you, and thank-you to Justin, a beautiful person, intellect and spirit.

  38. H.... H....

i wish this song was a hundred minutes longer

    H.... H....

+Hulk H Or a million... On a side note, let's see if we can keep from destroying this planet while it's still the only one we have. Or, more humbly and realistically, let's not destroy ourselves. The Earth will likely recover from anything we do to wipe ourselves out. Mother Earth is patient, and has plenty of time.

  39. H.... M....

Justin Hayward has a beautiful voice. :)

  40. R.... ....

    Universal truth.

  41. R.... ....

We are being tested everyday, I guess Our Creator wants to see if we are paying attention...

  42. G.... 9....

    very nice and relaxing

  43. 1.... ....

Justin and the MB are just timeless! During these times with so much violence and foul language in music it is fantastic to listen and see beautiful images of REAL music from a classic man of the highest talent  for all time ....thank you for this :)

  44. O.... L....

    BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  45. M.... O....

Middle Ages in Modern Times……….. timeless.  Most extraordinary.

  46. b.... ....

Wow, this is a fantastic collection of images. Well done.

  47. m.... b....

this song should have been longer ! beautiful

    m.... b....

Sometimes great songs are short.  Like this and Pink Floyd's "Breathe" and "Breathe Reprise".  And like this. :)

    m.... b....

    @Daniel P Hanover yup :))

    m.... b....

drives me completely crazy! That little snippet of dual tracked guitar in the intro to " million " has to be the most criminally underused idea ever. I know short can be sweet but this is just painful! I remember playing that intro again and again and again, it sounded so good. Wish Justin could revisit it and expand it..

    m.... b....

    It's a gorgeous little snippet!!

  48. t.... ....

Thank you for putting those together, phenomenal! My favorite acoustic set of all time.

  49. G.... L....

Great video for an underrated band.

  50. R.... D....

  68. T.... ....

"Children's" has got to be a top 200 album of all classic rock time. "I Never Thought . . " being one of it's timeless pieces. One day a hundred yrs, yes one can. One human lifetime a million yrs, yes one can ---with a little help from Meditation, Cannabis, and Psychedelics.

  69. t.... ....

    Beautiful photo selection

  70. T.... ....

Ahh...there you are, I knew someone out there would have the capacity to mention "Christ Consciousness" regarding this music. Yes, it brings about an expanding vision of peace and God-mindfulness that we must all try to nurture in the world we live in today. Time is now short, and our souls are being winnowed like wheat, separating the grain from the chaff. The separation and ascension is upon us. Continue raising the consciousness of those around us before it's too late! It is important work!

  71. E.... ....

Love the Music, Love the Vocals, Love the Hair, Love the Group!!

  72. C.... ....

Nicely done with a simple yet sophisticated creative flair. You showed the young Justin and then the "old" Justin synchronized with the two songs. Thank you for putting this on Youtube. Justin and his family and friends would love it as much as we fans do.

  73. M.... ....

    Magnificent!

  74. M.... E....

this is a lovely song, and you have done a great editing job with the two versions. Thank you x.

  75. c.... m....

What a tribute! Justin and the rest of them look better every year! They’re musical artistry surpasses all from the ‘60’s” forward! When watching “American Idol” with my daughter, I cringe. Whoever writes those lyrics need listen to the Moody Blues. Every word, sentence and stanza has meaning. All of them are geniuses! Again, thank you for this wonderful video! It takes watching several times and smiling bigger after each view~ Janet

  81. o.... p....

    @SuperNevile
I don't think so. The woman at 0:51 is his wife. I don't know who the woman at 1:25 is. It doesn't look like the same woman.

  82. t.... ....

Very nice. We all love Justin and obviously you do as well. Just great.

  83. D.... T....

he`s 6 years and 7 days older than me, I`m an Octobers child too:) A good vintage.
