Moody Blues, The - Forever Now Lyrics
If we could live forever
Where would our dreams lead us to
Living in a world of ever
Changing expectation
If it could be
It would be forever now
If we could be here forever
Where in this world would heaven be
As we race across the universe
In search of confirmation
Why can't it be
Why can't it be
There's no way out
There is no return
There's no way back
There's no way to learn
The final act
The curtain falls
On the stage
On the stage
Standing at the crossroads
Waiting for the new millennium
For if it could be
If it could be
It would be forever now
If we could live forever
Where would our dreams lead us to
Living in a children's world
Of simple fascination
If it could be, If it could be
It would be forever now
If it could be, If it could be
It would be forever now
For if it could be
If it could be
It would be forever now
If it could be, If it could be
It would be forever now

Moody Blues, The Forever Now Comments
Is it just me, or is John channeling a bit of John Lennon?! With some guitar wizardry from Justin.
It sounds like some of John Lennon's music to me, too, James!
Who is singing? what year the song is?
John Lodge is singing and it´s from 1999.
I have found forever in my children, my grandchildren and the children of friends. There is forever now, forevermore!

great song from a criminally underrated and overlooked album. In my opinion this is right up there with their very best. Consistently strong throughout, brilliantly written, arranged, performed and recorded. One of the best " sounding " albums since Fleetwood Mac Rumours. The guitar work from Justin is absolutely top notch . The best he's done. technical and thoughtful. They. should. have.done. more...
Salvation is free forever for everyone that believe the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ died for our sins and He was buried and He rose again the third day according to the scriptures, to save us from eternal judgement and give us eternal life.
Believe it in your heart and Jesus will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and you will be sealed unto eternal life forever. Guaranteed!
finally got this cd and love John singing any song. Give a listen to Justin sing MacArthur park wow the high notes he hits gives me goose bumps beautiful job on it.
One of my favorite songs on this album. The lyrics are truthful and so insightful, especially as one gets older.
I miss the surrealistc sound they had in the 60's..like "Nights in White Satin" with the orchestra.
John Lodge! What a voice!
Thank you Redbaron863 for adding and sharing your great talent to this awesome song. I'm sure you don't mind it is now further shared at the jubilee site: http://earthpartynow.com All invited! Thanks. p & co
these guys should be in the rock and roll hall of fame
+jeff maxwell Saw them perform in 1973 at the Oakland Indoor Arena. It was like the heavens opened up and angelic voices engulfed the audience. They were definitely archangels of the revolution.
so underrated in uk very true comment Jeff

They are!!
My favorite parts of this song are Justin's guitar fills and lead. The lyrics are very hopeful.
Cathy Wood
another emotional beautiful song of John's
John, what a beautiful song full of hope and understanding in his understanding of the heaven that awaits for him someday. Beautiful John!
Still timeless................Wish it was the 60s again.....
Classic track from probably the most consistently strong album they've ever released. Guitar solo is just sublime. Every song is brilliantly written, recorded, and produced. Cant believe its been 13 years. Its great that they're so busy touring now, but it must be killing Justin and John, who are primarily songwriters, not to be bringing out new material. Sad thing is - its what most of us fans really want too...bloody music industry :-(
Forever is now, eh? Love Justin's homage to his Brit brothers of rock vocals and strums...gorgeous lovely
I'm just the opposite. My two favorite Moodies songs, but I rank Words You Say No. 1
She has something better to do
Just found this while looking for lodgey songs....love it! Along with Foolish Love, English Sunset and Haunted...from Strange Times
It is Children.
Great sound quality and very thoughtful visuals. Nice job. Thanks for sharing.
My favorite Moodies song, along with Words You Say from the same album.
LOVE this CD by the Moodies. One of their Best.
Nice song and video Wolfman, Merry Turkey, Cheers Billy ;)
have any of the Moodies ever written a book about their life?
Mo they haven't and I dont believe they will. There is a book out there that someone wrote that chronicles their early years,I believe.
@MultiDean75 This is the one Moody album that I do not have. I note that you are a not a big fan of Keys To The Kingdom so I take it that this album is superior ?
Moody blues siempre haciendo buenas canciones, en este CD Jonh Lodge demostro un gran mejora vocal, hay quienes cantan mejor con los años
powerful song. I believe the peace movements needs to build up again to protect the men and women who are being lead into harms way.
Thank you, very nice.
A beautiful song....straight to my favorites...thanks for the share redbaron !!!
Thank u so much!
It will be my next, I promise it...;)
Thanks for the post, redbaron. Would you consider putting up "Haunted" from the same CD?
A beautiful song from a CD with wonderful music on it. Nicely sung by John.
I heard this first at the Albert Hall April 2000. Went out and bought the CD the next day.
In the programn I still have the group said "We've been able to make music that crosses generations because were not afraid to sing songs about actual emotions"
How true!
Danke fuer der Video RedBaron
