You know. Im not sure if they released official lyrics yet. But i think most people have these wrong. I have read people write "Think with your memory. Think for your family. Everything's written for one." and I just dont hear that. I hear "Deep within memory. Deeper within me. Everything's written forward/forwarned." because basically this whole concept is about the Samsar cycle so everything in this case is some tragic unfortunate loop. That Sam is trying to break only to realise it leads him back to the beginning.

The section at 2:50 really could have built into something earth-shattering. I almost feel blue-balled by it.

This band has always been in my recommends but I never really gave them the chance till now. This song is so catchy and groovey, I feel like a fool for passing it up! Has a strong Tony Danza influence without being to chuggy like Reflections. Definitely a new fan :)

One hit wondering? Maybe for you personally because you have a narrow minded taste in beautiful art. But as for me, and many many others, THIS SHIT IS AMAZING.
The entire album start to finish is phenomenal.
A pure progressive, archaic, spiritual, powerful work of art.
It is amazing. To say the least.

In terms of being original with melodies and tempos I would pick matt instead of chris. 200%
For me personally Matt was a better understanding of what would needed to be in place vocally for the instrumental needs. also the tone of his voice feels better in the band than Chris.

Monuments have the most beautiful instrumental compositions ever done.

@Shawn Lawson you cant simply have the entire album be 1 big groove, they have to switch it up sometimes. I dont hear much groove in this song, but in the others i definitely do. groove. if i hear groove one more time....

Anyone else think everything they've released so far from the new album pales in comparison to Gnosis? The bass is severely turned down in the mix, there are less minimal grooves, don't even get me started on the strength of the vocals. The Alchemist is definitely the best of the three, but it still doesn't grab me like the first time I heard Admit Defeat, Doxa, Blue Sky Thinking, what have you. I can't be the only one who is disappointed so far. 

@pandaswhatnow and most people prefer simplistic sound. What's it matter? Its their choice.

I'm not a huge fan of them, but they're good and many don't realize that "simplistic" sound is much harder to play sometimes. I'm a musician. I should know. Also those simplistic sounds also make more of a popular songs, because a lot of people don't like when there's so much going on. Me, however, I like both technical and simplistic. Depends on how its done.

This album is gona kick ass!!! Chris Barretto exceeded my expectations. I've always liked his vocals but he really stepped it up for this album and fits in so well with Monuments. Not to mention John Browne is a genius guitarist and songwriter. Definitely purchasing this album!
