I really love this song! I found it on one of my John Michael Montgomery cds and it was an immediate favorite. Clever lyrics!

I haven't heard this song in a long time. I had heard it after I bought one of his CD's in 96. I had a car accident in 93 and was paralyzed from the chest down. My fiance' couldn't handle it, and started cheating on me, but saying it was all in my head. We went from doing almost everything together, to him never wanting to go anywhere with me. I was left with my heart breaking and wondering why. If you love someone, how could a person turn their backs on you and walk away? Love this song.

Diana.....So sorry to hear this, love is forever, thick and thin, better or worse, not just till you don't want it anymore.
My wife and I have been married 15 years, together for 20, we have been down at the bottom and up on top...many times as I am sure she was sleeping around, I felt like leaving, even got to the truck...but I made a commitment, gave my heart, I stuck it out, now here we are.
I wish you all the best......it does get better and there are better ones out there.
