Monkees, The - Dream World Lyrics

Walking around with your head in the clouds
You don't care.
Why must you walk when you know
You're not going anywhere.

Why don't you come out of your dream world
It's not real.
It's not the way it seems to be.
Why don't you come into the real world.
Come with me.
We'll share our thoughts, forget the dreams.
You'll see.

Always pretending that everything's fine
When it's not.
Why must you lie when you know that
You'll aways get caught.

Why don't you come out of your dream world
It's not real.
It's not the way it seems to be.
Why don't you come into the real world.
Come with me.
We'll share our thoughts, forget the dreams.
You'll see.

[Instrumental]

Why don't you come out of your dream world
It's not real.
It's not the way it seems to be.
Why don't you come into the real world.
Come with me.
We'll share our thoughts, forget the dreams.
You'll see.
You'll see.
You'll see.

im surprised that he didnt make more albums then he did, because just like the other guys he has such a nice, smooth voice, its alwys good to hear him sing, im sure that fans will miss him singing for the upcoming tour, but i know the guys will do a great job of celebrating davys life and music, im sure that it will be the concert of the year, what a great evening that will be for the people that can attend, i hope that youtube puts the concerts on line, that would be great, love ya, guys.

This song is so relevant to today's electorate.
