Modestep - On Our Own Lyrics
We can do this on our own
No looking back, time to go
So we can do this somehow
We can do this on our own
We can do this on
We can do this on
We can do this on
We can do this on
We can do this on
We can do this on
We can do this on our own
We can do this on our own
No looking back, time to go
So we can do this somehow
We can do this on our own
We can do this on our own

Modestep On Our Own Comments
Wheres Tony?
This is your best album! What the fuck so few views! From Russia with love!
the drumbeat sounds like culprate just re-used the beat of the track "two" off his nightmares in reality ep. anyway, both "two" and this one are really good tracks. (two being my favourite by culprate)
Sounds like Burial,fucking awesome!
Except the drop. You guy should make an ambient version of this without the heavy drop.
🌞❤
90% Culprate
10% Modestep
Shut up & enjoy!
Culprate doesn't do dubstep.
@Mark Donald what kind of fucking statement is that, have you ever heard anything from culprate?
@Mark Donald lol u mad bro
@ETJU Yes it is all dnb
Holy fucking shit yes
If London had a sound... this would be it
amazing song 👍
Perfect for cloudy mornings, spot on mate
jungle dnb faceshitter MMMMMMMMMMM
oh god just found this song today....what a tune
This is underrated af
Meaty drops, real D&B. Pat rules on drums.
lol this track has no DnB at all
1:49 "Chill/Experimental" hahaha
Anybody know more projects/bands like the first two minutes of the song? Can someone tell me more bands like this? Thanks. :)
+Badalabandabad check out Future Garage mixes
I felt like this was a Burial ripoff before and I still think it.
You clearly don't have a clue about Culprate's discography then. He's been producing similar future garage vibes for years with tracks like Tentacle, Tentacle VIP, Two and Eddys. The perc drums at the beginning is his trademark sound.
Yes, becuase obviously every future garage track is a ripoff of Burial
I don't think it anymore
I still don't think it
@Kimiru lmao good to know
best song of the album
Culprate one of the best producers i've heard
Apart from looking at the title (durr) I knew it was Culprate because of that Perc. Little to 'Two', almost exactly the same
Shame you didnt play this at download, so chill
That's a whole new production level
+RoboticsBay It's simply Culprate. I've heard he lives on Mars.
That's Culprate production level, as simple as that.
I think it would be better, to reveal his talent, so guys if you enjoy this music share to the others because good music shouldn't be so underrated. could we?
CULPRATE IS JEEZUS CONFIRMED.
This may sound very nerdy but the beginning of the song gives me an Age of Mythology music feeling. And I love it
Sick !!!! <3
Glad to still hear some of your old style coming through!! I hope you keep the roots man, love that shit! Big up on the album too bro!
Really digging the Burial-esque drums!
Very "Near Dark"-esque
@aMpeDDUp Haha, my thoughts exactly :P
Classic Culprate. The same drums from Eddys and Two! ^_^
One of the reasons why I love this song so much!
I love the rythmic sound vibeing off of this track! For some reason everytime I hear it, I think of London nightlife!
Isqa is that you?
@Eduardo Martin Actually Isqa is very inspired by Culprate's tunes :)
Intro: chillout future 2-step garage...
Drop: Holyfffffffffffff!!!!!!!!
+mikepro500 Outro : experimental
it's all experimental bass
This is a perfect mix of neurostep and future garage, not "experimental bass"
Tune this
other than sing, this is the best off of london road
the garage vibes are great and the brutal drop is awesome. can tell culprate did the drop
Album of the year imo.
Sick ass collabs!
Song went from perfect to the worst shit ever
Nah, you just don't appreciate the sound design or the production in the drop
fkin tune mate
The best track of the album
Yeah, that's because it's mostly made by Culprate
FUCK this is so good
sry, can't get over it but the last album was so much better than this :/ most songs suck (in my opinion) - only a few that are ok (snake, machines, rainbow...)
saw them live in vienna a few years ago and I was so excited about the new album and to see them live - but now... I don't really want to see them live with this album!
sunlight, show me a sign, freedom, another day, praying for silence were the best <3
R.I.P modestep :(
@SwaggerSpongebob You named songs what are most awful. This is classic and if u cant get over it... iam so sorry. London road is beast. [my opinion]
They said it themselves that they felt Evolution Theory wasn't made to their liking. This album though they stuck to what they wanted and put a lot of hard work into it and honestly I like it over ET.
@SwaggerSpongebob Its all opinion man, musically this is so much better. The layering and technique in these songs are amazing. Before they just had catchy songs with good lyrics and average/shitty mainstream EDM... if you actually like this type of music, this album is 100% better
Based on what I have read about them as a group and the music they produce; This is a dark step / metal step / filthy / dnb / rock step group.
All their music they put out has a darker feel to it and for the ones that have edm influence, they always have a dnb / dark step drop pattern. Very heavy beats, little chorus , and a mix of drum and bass.
The ones you mentioned are more of the ones that can bring more audience listens in, and that's why certain songs get videos and others don't. Usually, the best songs on any album are the ones that only fans who own the album know about.
Get over yourself dude !!!
INSANE!!!
One of the best tunes of the album. The garage vibez are relaxings, and well the drop it's brutal! Modestep and culprate did a master pice :)
this album is head and shoulders above your past albums
Really reminds me of Culprate's - Two. One of my favorite songs of all time!
+Pyro ific Yes, he used the same drum pattern. Love it !
one of the most loved one from the Londonroad since the teaser, the complete version is finally out!!!
*preparing myself*
amazing song is relax
One small step for modestep and one big eargasm for mankind~
hahahahahahahahahaha que mierda tan chida
Insane how good your music is to be so Un-discovered by so many people.
Awesome
Chill as f*ck
@Josh Heath Chill? I don't think you've listened to the whole song if you really think that, lol.
@Briansimon2 why do you think? Somebody may find this music relaxing :) BTW, seein' you pretty frequently in comments, so you have cool music taste (just like me, hah)
Expect the unexpected!
lmao spaze XD
