This song reminds me of being five years old. "Ocean Breathes Salty" is one of the few things that let me relive the past when things were a lot simpler to me.

My favorite band of all time.
My best friend Tommy introduce me to Modest Mouse. He took his life back in early 2008. I cry everytime I listen to Dramamine & The world at large bkuz those were his favorite songs. Float On Gets to me also bkuz I feel like if he could have just held on longer, he would have been able to just Float On....

This video always makes me cry!

I played this song one night in a tiny little bar in my hometown on their internet jukebox. I expected the older regulars to hate it. One of them came up and asked who the band was, they all seemed to really enjoy it. Never gonna hesitate to play a song I'm unsure about again.

That guitar tone, man. That reverb, or whatever it is. This song makes me incredibly nostalgic and sad. I remember it playing on MTV2 and Much Music and such in '04 or so. I never really explored these guys; probably should.

AgentMorgan2010 they have one of the most under rated discography you can come across. Their really good songs have that same energy and sound that makes it amazing

You know the feeling when something speaks to your soul? I'm feeling that.

The part where the boy and Isaac have fun together reminds me of the time my dad was in the hospital with severe cancer that spread to his Brain. He told me not to worry about him and said when he gets better and out of the hospital we can go have fun together. I left his room and I had a dream where he beat the cancer and he was perfectly fine. His body was completely free of all diseases that crippled him and it was perfect. He came into my hotel room and hugged me, telling me that he beat the cancer, I was excited and filled to the brim with happiness, so me and him had fun together so a celebration. We ran, we jumped, we went to a movie and pretty much did all the things we wanted to do. But then I woke up to only find that it was a dream and that my dad died in his sleep hours after we left.

I do not know why doctors made me take psychotropic meds ever! All they did was make me fat and quiet. Also I thought no different when I was taking them. After  1995 I heard voices all the time and no medication ever made them go away. All I did was lie all the time more so because any time I talked to the shrink they made me take more if I admitted stuff. A lot of people, including myself, would smoke and drink coffee all the time. All we did was become pathological liars every day of our lives because we could not tell people everything.
