To be fair, you have to have a pretty high IQ to understand Modern Baseball.

It's so hard not to burst into tears listening to this. I had a friend who recently committed suicide, and I found myself listening to this over and over again. I got through my own struggles with depression, so every time I hear this song, it's a complete emotional rollercoaster. I hope Bren is doing better than he was then, and I hope he only continues to get better, because I know exactly how he feels from this song. I feel this way practically every single day, and it's one of the hardest things in life to cope with, but I'm making it through the best I can. If anyone reads this who is going through serious depression, you are not alone. You are loved. You have worth. You are amazing and more than enough. Always remember that.

@Clovis No, this song is about his struggle with mental health, while HDITAGIWTKH is about being awkward around a girl you like that doesn't like you back, not related at all probably.

@eedfeldt4u maybe it could be a spiritual sequel, where it's calling back to the emotions that he used to feel at that time. Maybe to show how long he's been feeling this way, or to show the emotional degredation, and how he got there.

aerojascruz No, at least 4. He is playing in an Open D-tuning so he basically only needs to hold on the lower two strings while the other are played open.
