Utter perfection. I listen to all kinds of music, regardless of genre, and this song is fucking ridiculous. I remember first hearing this in Victoria, Canada, 1986 and going: "This is MY band, for life!!!!" I still believe in God, and he believes in The Mish,because they are a fun bunch of lads!!!! PS Skink's guitar break is beyond bonkers!!!!!!

Butterfly 666! Who am I?

Once upon a time I had a love that I could not appreciate. I lost her forever and this song reminds me so much of Jasmin. We would listen to this song and I swear I could see forever in her eyes. A year ago today she left me. 8 years together and all that love died away. I miss you Jasmin. I love you forever.

Wayne Hussey never claimed to be anything other than a pop artist. At least he isn't bragging about his 8 inch dick like Lil' Wayne.

There's a better, slower, more Gothic-sounding version somewhere that is WORLDS better.

The Mission is gothic rock...sometimes, just sometimes, gothic rock artists can produce happy/upbeat songs.

Cheesy and tacky... this dude is writing about love and sex and his lyrical metaphors are cliche and transparent. It feels like this song would be way better if the lyrics didn't suck so much.

I've got this instrumental version on 12" and I have been trying to play it off and on for the last 25 years. Still haven't got it, but what a great piece of music. Hussey could pluck your heart strings.
