Bollocks. Eldritch's heart wasn't in singing Wayne's lyrics - and it shows. Besides, as much as Eldritch wrote fantastic songs up until '84 and again with "Floodland", Wayne's voice is technically better - which is not to say that The Mission were consistent, either.

I agree that Bono is a twat, but he does have a good voice. But I get you, the sense-of-idiot is very overpowering lol
