Miss May I - Trust My Heart (Never Hope To Die) Lyrics
I always trust my heart and never hope to die
Trust my heart and never hope to die
Followed an empty road
Without any direction of where I should go
I’ve come too far just to let this go
No plan in my head, my heart is all I know
One day at a time until I find my pace
My dreams will never die, they are all I see
No turning back, even when it’s the only direction
There’s a lion’s will inside of me beating harder, inspiring
When the flatline comes, I have to be the one who will carry
Myself though the trials of life, finding no surrender in sight
There’s no surrender in sight
No surrender in sight
No surrender
I will trust my heart and I will never hope to die
I’ve come too far just to let this go
No plan in my head, my heart is all I know
One day at a time until I find my pace
My dreams will never die, they are all I see
They are all I see
My dreams will never die
They are all I see
They are all I see
There’s no surrender in sight
There's no surrender

This song speaks to me on a deep level 🔥
Listen to this album tripping balls. In the background of Deathless there's "LSD is Jesus" spray painted. My best friend pointed it out to me years ago on a trip where I showed him this album.
Yeah thats what i like this kind of metal 😍😍💪💪
The chorus <3
Am I the only one who thinks the cleans sound like three days grace?! lol
Kinda. Ryans voice is much higher than adams tho. Although in the softer part of turn back the time its very noticable
killswitch engage-like nice it's sick
They missed the medal core/ deathcore sound with this album... disappointing..
So..it was disappointing because they had a more metal sound?
All these new albums coming out are kind of disappointing. Get over it!! We have people that are gonna be hating on us too make a song and move on! 😱 The only one band that had a great sound and stayed true to the name. And that is EMMURE!!!!😬 but that's just my opinion. I just must be used to the miss may I I was used to. Forgive and forget and relentless chaos are the ones that got me to like mmi!
glos tumb
this sounds very good, but still missing the whole "apologies are for the weak" sound
I couldn't agree more.. there isn't enough roar.. not enough rage.. no emotion .. this is fare from medal core..
Tf you smoking, this over AAFTW any day
ubbanucka21 Far* Metal* and this is what true Metalcore sounds like
this is a comeback
❤❤❤❤❤
only 70k views in 4 months? Damn, a lot of people must had bailed on the metal scene.
Or on Miss May I.
+Lil karmicheal People only like to watch music videos these days and don't appreciate the music enough
i was lisining to this song when i was grineding at a dam
The clean vocalist really picked up the ball on this album. He was mediocre at best before, but now he has a decent range and some talent
+Dakota Jackson (Pastafarianism) I honestly preferred their overall sound in their older stuff, Masses of a Dying Breed was the first song i heard by them, and is still my favorite IMO, just loved their old sound. Not that this isnt great either though
so glad to hear them get back to their roots
An ocean between us, is that you? Lol
Phant0mGetsuga993 hell yeah
I don't get how people think this is there best record when this is such a 2.0 of of Monument. It's sad that the way they progression based on production, and vision with structure of the sound they were creating made them unique, and stand out and wasn't so trending like what Apologies and Monument was doing back then, which is half the reason why there my favorite band out today. They weren't doing it because it was popular, but because they wanted to do it for the love of it. Now they lost all there money, and progression as a band they had to go back to Sturgis just so they can reclaim what they lost especially for the fan's sake. A least they held there potential to sound like what Miss May I should like and not like anybody else and become boring like everyone else in today's metalcore scene. I hope the next record they go all out and make a At Heart version of what they did with Monument and make it like mad.
Those fucking drums.
I'm just extremely happy about this album. I can't even describe my joy.
Please never do another ROTL on us.
Chorus on point
This is my favorite song on this album honestly
GOD.DAMMIT.YES.
3rd best track on the album behind Deathless and IHE. I only wish there were 3 choruses instead of 2!!
Oh shit man, Miss May I, I Love U.
The album cover sucks
first I've heard from this band and I am becoming quite a fan
REBORN OF MISS MAY I!!
Alejandro Armario rebirth*
Miss may I is great and I'll probably get this album but what bums me out is how all the songs on this one are recorded with the drums and vocals drowning out the guitar, I liked how they recorded monument where it really focused on all the riffs.
1:29 who else felt like it's the second "end of me "
1:00 there is no way ryan will pull that off live
@C and J productions "one more time"!
@Andrew Cox he has gotten like 10 times better at his cleans since their first album. the old ryan would have never been able to do that live but i believe he can now. Its obvious they have been working on his vocals alot.
+Andrew Cox this actually might have been levi not sure, anyone officially know? I know he has a high girly voice like that.
+M Benway Haha he does have the voice for it! But ryan does the cleans
Andrew Cox he does pull it off. Search it live, its the one with 267 views I believe.
It's the last name... trust me.
Kyle Neff love your profile pic 😍🤘
Miss May I getting their shit back on is amazing!
Slowly moving back in the right direction
Guitar tone is a little off (especially in the verses, sounds really digital), but the rest is great! A lot like classic Miss May I
Shut up
The Verse Guitar Riff sounds so similar to gone but other than that its awesome
The old Miss May I is back <3
Amazing!
this whole stream is an aoty contender for sure
AHH I missed this sound, this is wonderful
acha que só porque você acha o album bom ele É BOM? me poupe fanboy
couldn't agree more
+Unguided Reaper Just cause I dont like Rise of the lion doesn't mean I'm a poser you dumb fuck. I know what good music is and Rise of the lion wasn't that. You act like you never disliked any album before.
Marcello Sandoval I respect your opinion but rise of the lion and at heart was the best ive heard honestly
Marcello Sandoval Compared to AAFTW and monument ROTL was horrible but it was a great album it was more of a metal sounding album more than a metalcore
