Minogue, Kylie - Too Far Lyrics

Caught up in this house
Trapped my very own self in the snare of my mind
No more space than a slither
What I'd give for deep breath inside
Where the chaos has me captive
Where there's no exit sign
Where I fuel the stupid fire with these feelings of mine

Lured into this den
It's bitter and I want the sweetness again
A taste that I agree with
Get me past these perils and to my Eden
Where the silence is a comfort
Where there is no one else
Where I'll be up from under and can uncurl myself.

Too many, too much, too hard
Help me, this time I went too far
Too many, too much, too hard
Help me, this time I went too far

Can I smash all of this open
Can I pass the hurt with a little pain
I wanna see all of it crumble
And start afresh and over again
My eyes are wide open
But I can hardly see
Will laughter find a way around these silent tears

Too many, too much, too hard
Help me, this time I went too far
Too many, too much, too hard
Help me, this time I went too far

    Benjamin Law

@Raven The Acid Bath Princess Of The Dark 😢

  11. Lana Del Rey Videos

I think that Kylie isn't the Gaga of her time! I should better say that Madonna was the Gaga of her time... At least Kylie is the ancient Lana del Rey. Not because Lana is similar to Kylie but because Lana is always related to Gaga and Kylie is related to Madonna... i mean: Kylie is "against" Madonna as Lana is against Gaga...

Lana Del Rey Videos Lady Gaga herself was never the Gaga of any time.

  13. swilda123

everybody, please ! stop bringing lady gaga to everywhere, she's not deserved

  14. Lemonade&Lavender

Kylie was the Gaga of her time. This was an amazing album and still is. I love both artists so I'm not going to go against either.

  15. swilda123

    this album is so underrated

  16. madson

Lady who is far far from gettin' this xtremely awesome sound and music style

  17. James Routledge

    LOVE THIS ALBUM

  18. Phastolph Baggins

Don't take me wrong. I truly despise Lady Gaga and the way she gets credit for being something she's never been (ie daring), but I`m so over folks and comparing her to everyone. I`m not a fan of Kylie, but Impossible Princess was a fantastic album and simply doen't deserve to be in the same sentence as Gaga's name. So please, forget that wannabe. If you keep bringing up her name everywhere, you're just giving her more attention than she deserves.

  19. Thania Camacho

    tengo que escuchar este album!

  20. Phastolph Baggins

Listening to Impossible Princess is a depressing experience. Not because the music is depressing, but because it shows how capable Kylie really is of making complex, deep music. The point is: True artistry and sincere lyrics very seldom get a decent commercial response. Turns out it didn't pay off financially as well as it did artistically and thanks to that she's back in the studio, doing the same kind of crappy-yet-enjoyable stuff she fought so hard against recording companies to stop doing...

    MarcelProusting

    Agreed!

    ld4743

    Totally agree!

    Thomas Havard-Morgan

I see it in a different light. I agree you are right that often the artistic is shunned in favour of the commercial. But with Kylie I just think she needed the opportunity to experience making music like IP, and once out of her system she felt more comfortable in herself. I think Spinning Around was definitely her statement of intent and purpose. What I like about Light Years is her hands are all over it and she got what she wanted, control in her creativity and commercial success. IP was an is a great experiment but the Kylie of Light Years is probably truer to her. Just my feelings

  21. Marcio Gore

@LordAdrian I love this song..It's misterious and the same time amazing!!

  22. fungipower

  23. Oscar Vega

mmm is it me? or the sound that starts at 0:25 is similar to the one from clocks, by coldplay???

  24. Khanê Abel

Almost like Lady Gaga, only this album and aesthetics is ten years older than the same gaga
