I'll take Trump ANY day over Bush, one of the five worst presidents in our history, who presided over some of the most disastrous economic times in our history (i.e. the stock market crash after 9/11, the Iraq War, a skyrocketing national debt, the subprime mortgage crisis and high energy prices). We have never really fully recovered from all of that.


Also you might be too young to remember but mass shootings were not unheard-of in 2001-2002. We had Columbine High School in 1999, and a similar tragedy in Paducah Kentucky a year or so before that. We had the Beltway Sniper (which was genuinely terrifying) and terrorist incidents before 9/11 such as the OKC bombing and the 1993 WTC bombing.
