A fantastic album. A truly gem of it's time.

Al has done a wonderful job throughout his career experimenting and growing the industry. Like With Sympathy though... Twitch I thought was the ultimate album, follow by The Land of Rape and Honey. With Sympathy for me follow right after The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste in terms of quality... Mind you Animosity was very Twitch-like, and Houses of the Mole, was simply an awesome politically charged album with a ton of commentary on the state of the world.

Reminds me of when I drove to Dallas from Boston.Played this album the whole way and the two months I stayed there and back.

This reminds me of Pantera before they became Groove Metal!!!!!

definitely not the same thing! maybe if you compare, let's say, Taking My Life and Strength Beyond Strenth there is a world, but compare Pantera's 80s songs Project In The Jungle, Out For Blood, Killers, Onward We Rock, Down Below, Valhalla, I Am The Night, Death Trap, Over And Out or Power Metal with their 90s stuff, there isn't a great difference, the 80s songs that I mentioned had nothing glam in them and were already groove/thrash-coloured heavy metal, heavily influenced by Judas Priest, Van Halen, and after 1985 also Megadeth! Ministry changed almost everything, there isn't anything in common between With Sympathy and Land Of Rape And Honey, and even the gap between With Sympathy and Twitch is huge

difference is both versions of Ministry were great, while both versions of Pantera sucked (though their hair metal phase sucked a bit less)

I'm guessing "I Wanted to Tell Her" and "Work for Love". Those are my top 3. This record still stands out in the endless sea of Synth Pop records.

A band evolve, and Ministry have created an entire musical genre with their later albums, what do you want more ?
If you prefer old albums, then stick to them, but really this kind of argument "old versus new Ministry" is so lame !
By the way I love With Sympathy, I love Psalm69, and love The Last Sucker.
