Mindy you was so loved by many. If only there was a bigger focuse on the cause of depression. I'll never forget you on the awards one night and you came out barefooted. Girl that's when I knew you was real.

tracy reed , Grief can include depression, but it's not quite the same. She had been traumatized, not only by her fiancee's death, but the manner of it. And that doesn't even speak to the loss of her sons so soon after. I can't begin to imagine her hell.

I was a 17 year old high school student when Mindy was on top of the world! She quickly became one of my favorite voices in country music. It is hard to imagine how somebody so beautiful and talented could have such a tragic ending. She died at age 37 but she certainly knew what it felt like to be on top doing more in 37 years than most people do in a life time. R.I.P fellow Florida girl!!
