Milsap, Ronnie - It's Written All Over Your Face Lyrics

Is there a tear in that gleam in your eyes
Is there a reason for me to ask why
Don't say a word... cause you never could lie
Don't be afraid of what you can't hide

It's written all over your face
Someone has taken my place
And it's something you just can't erase
It's written all over your face

You look in my eyes, you want to be strong
But you don't feel a thing when the feeling is gone
It's not that it's right and it's not that it's wrong
You just can't let go but you just can't hold on

  1. S.... O....

Thank you so much for this song. I never thought that I,d hear it again....Brought back memories of many years ago.

Not yet, Ronnie; you were just too big to stop! Great song, like the rest of the LP. @Bloozedaddy76 Don't rely on mainstream radio alone for talent; there're vast amounts of ocean with fish just waiting to be hooked. Generally though, I agree. @David Bucy Well, on Billboard, Ronnie had 35 #1s in just over 15 1/2 yrs. Strait took at or around 17 from his 1st chart topper to get as many. There're a few coincidences between of Ronnie's last #1 to his no longer even scoring hits; in just a few yrs.

If Ronnie would have had more exposure in the 90s on radio he might have been the all time king of number 1s but radio and nashville had no mercy, but if you do the math, 40 #1 hits in 18yrs is good enough for me, so here is to KING MILSAP, sorry George Strait.

If Ronnie was allowed on the radio today, he would make an embarrassment out of Nashville's new stars. Today's ignorant fans don't mind if Taylor Swift sings off-key 90 percent of the time, because great singers like Ronnie are not allowed on the radio to make Swift sound like the amatuer she is.
