Milo Greene - Parents' House Lyrics
I need a break
My body stop but we still reach on through
Living with you
At your parent's house
And you were always someone else
Someone else
You're not a saint
The frame you took
And try to paint
Is ruin
Take it with you
To your parent's house
You were always someone else
Someone else

Milo Greene Parents' House Comments
This song is being played in loop since last week. Cheers.
Esse som é muita mais que perfeito.
Now this is Milo Greene!
I do not like to compare artist but the first thing I heard was the xx in this song. Thought I had it in shuffle.
+Bruno Vazquez I was just thinking the same thing! ... the vocals and guitar are very simplistic... very reminiscent of Oliver and Romy.
Same...
In love with this song!!!
Loved the first album. Unfortunately this is the only song that I like so far off the new one.
By far the best song of the new album, really the only one that actually sounds like Milo Greene
lol whaaaat??? no
Almost has a bit of a The xx feel to it along with that classic Milo Greene sound and I love it!
And with a touch of Daughter actually
I need a break,
Our bodies stop, but we still age
I'm through living with you
At your parents house, I was never myself and you were always someone else Someone else
You're not a saint, the frame you took and tried to paint is lewd
Take it with you, to your parents house
I was never myself, you were always someone else, somebody else
Where are you now?
And will you wait for me there?
The way it stands, the overcoat you would not lend
It's proof, long overdue
At your parent's house, where I was never myself
And you were always someone else, someone else
x2
Where are you now?
And will you wait for me there?
That outro is SICK.
Wooden Antler drums and Moddison under lying groove. Both tracks permeate through the first album as you are taken on a musical journey and to hear this theme again in Parents House warms my heart after hearing the synth pop efforts of the previous releases from the 2nd album. I am bouyed to hear that in an effort to demonstrate progression, the original sound that led and compelled me to listen to Milo Greene a number of years ago, is still there and i hope that this will continue as their appreciation expands amongst the real music loving community who are saddened by the XFactor esq drival that we are bombarded with on a daily basis. Welcome back Milo Greene happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year.
now it's Milo Greene of course...
