The lyrics and the rawness of her emotions are beautiful. Yeah, the screaming is horrible, I think she should just stay away from those high notes. But overall, I think the performance was pretty amazing. She’s obviously sad and hurt, it’s pretty shameful that video outlets would exploit her pain. At any rate. I feel so bad that she was shat on for this album and got such a malicious response to it because she was really trying to put together something intimate and confessional... was the album an overall misfire? Sure. But it could’ve led to something more polished... there are a lot of moments of heartbreaking brilliance on Dead Petz... imo she demonstrated a really good understanding of grief and pain... I wish she would try her hand at more intimate song writing again, but I’m like 100% sure she never will lol... even the new Liam break up song doesn’t come close to the pain of Dead Petz
