ok so just a guess on the meaning of this vid in the entire storyline. the first one was about how they manufacture talent and turn individuality into nothing and have the creators force out content. im guessing how this is either about how when an industry fails (music industries being the alien girls who are "behind the times") and how they come telling people about how bad it is. the other possibility is how people make music to distract people about tragedies (like how they distracted the cops from the dead bodies by singing). the last part is about how trends and artists from the past are forgotten and looked at weirdly.

I personally interpret this series as the portrayal of artificial personas in the music industry and how we let it define us as a society. In Paddling out, a man who is presumed to be a good for nothing is taken and is turned into essentially another programmed entity, meant to be sent to earth to contribute to the facade of consumerism and icons. In this music video, the children die of unknown causes, but really it’s about how we don’t question how what we expose our children to effects them. The police just blindly start dancing to the songs of the strange entities but they’re the causes of the children’s death, as what we put out in the media in forms of movies, songs, and tv shows can negatively effect what children see as normal and healthy. Thus, this series is about the emphasize placed on false icons in America.
