Wow. Shared this amazing song with a friend today on FB, 9/11, as he had posted 'Beds Are Burning' and I wondered if he'd heard this one. Incredibly, aren't they in NYC, and those are the Twin Towers in the background?

Albert Namatjiras great grandson won a major Australian art award recently. An Australian Republic has become a possibility in the public mind.

What a pity that this version of the video of "Truganini" was included on The Full Tank and not the other, apparently Australian version. So much for the fiction that the Full Tank and and Overflow Tank are the complete Midnight Oil. Once again, record companies show their gift for the overstatement and fake. And yes, while music videos aren't the height of any aesthetic the Aussie version is vasty superior to the Brooklyn Bridge one.

This song came out almost 3 decades ago, and i still can't get enough of it. it's one of my favorite songs of all time, and not just by the Oils. if a week goes by without me hearing this song, i go into relapse. i think its that good - both the message and the melody. i finally got to see them live in 2017 in Oakland, CA and it was incredible...a bucket list item i thought i'd never be able to cross off.

On reflection the UK wants a massive trade deal with OZ and Pete's calling for the Union Flag to be burnt. Jeez I miss the Oils
