Middle East, The - Beleriand Lyrics
When the truth comes out
The light Telperion dies
Ungoliant
Barad-dûr
Angband alive
There
We find our fate
We find our darkness
That name
Melkor in us
When the truth comes out
The line Elendil flies
Across the Sea
From Númenor
There
We find our fate
We find our darkness
That name
Melkor in us
In us
In us
In us
In us
In us
In us
In us
In us
In us
In us
In us
In us

"Ungoliant, Barad-dûr, Angband alive."
It's actually in English but you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise.
What's does that mean not the its english but the first part?
@Ty Reguin
They're all proper nouns from the works of JRR Tolkein.
Ungoliant is a giant spider. Mother of Shelob and progenitor of of all the spiders in Mirkwood. She desired light above all else, and as a result she chose to consume the two enormous trees that were the original sources of light in that world. All that remains of them is the sun and moon.
Barad-dûr is an enormous fortress that was built by and served as the keep of Sauron during the War of the Last Alliance at the end of the Second Age. Following his defeat, it was razed, but if you've seen Lord of the Rings you'll know he survived, and rebuilt Barad-dûr to serve as his base once again. It's the giant tower with a burning lidless eye you may remember.
Angband was the fortress of Melkor, another dark lord and the master of Sauron himself. Although Angband was breached by the Valar (good guys), in their haste to capture Melkor they did not bother to completely destroy the terrible place, and many evil things such as orcs and balrog were able to survive in the vast dungeons below. They bred down there, for hundreds of years, and soon began spreading throughout Middle Earth.
Tolkien should forgive them for this, for I can't...

Saw The Middle East when they opened for Mumford & Sons at La Zona Rosa in Austin, Texas yesterday (June 9th, 2010). Loved their style, loved the way that they switch off instruments with one another, loved their harmonies, loved their lengthy songs, loved their band members, and loved Bree Tranter.
This band is definitely worth listening to... Over & over & over again.
@TigerConoro24 jajajajajaja... we still survive, yes... Tv is king and killer (brain killer)
Thanxs for searing your thoughts ...
: )
Este grupo me quiebra el alma.
Never really heard of them until they opened for Mumford and Sons last weekend in Cleveland, Ohio! I think they are a great band and their sound is awesome and unique!
Beleriand itself is the land to the north of where the events in The Lord of the Rings takes place. The War of the Jewels... the mythology of middle earth
Lyrics are derived from The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien.
