don't know why smith or whoever named this song 'Christ Be All Around Me', if you're truly born again in Yeshua/Jesus, Christ IS all around you! so are God's angels! so i don't get this song, as far as it's title, and some lyrics also, like 'in every eye that sees me', Jesus is unfathomable! certainly more than just 'sight', included. Jesus I wouldn't doubt has done more in and through his servants that were/are physically blind, it's all relative to God, in fact, in the Word, the bible, Jesus said, 'you've seen and believe, but blessed are they which have not seen, and yet believe. So that age-old L I E, and it is a lie 'seeing is believing', is total garbage. Only God the Holy Ghost bears witness to the reality of Jesus, NOT man's frail, carnal, failing senses. The people that think 'if you can't touch it, smell it, taste it, see it, or hear it, then it doesn't exist, are totally ASSinine. This song is good in the sense that it speaks regarding the scripture that says all those who are born again in Yeshua/Jesus are 'living eipistles', we are the vessels God uses for his will in so many ways, and of course God's will includes any and all ways, he's not limited to using humans, or any one 'method' etc. God does how, when, where, what he pleases, according to his will and his Word. Another scripture this song backs up is 'Christ is All in All'. The lyrics, he died for every moment could have easily been replaced with 'Christ our life' as scripture says, 'life' of course including every moment, actually EVERYTHING, so maybe this lyric may be attempting to 'limit Christ', I don't think so, but Jesus died not just for 'every moment', the bible says he came that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. Jesus didn't come so that we might 'just exist', or 'be content', as so many who are born again in Jesus are, they're dead, not baptized in the Holy Ghost, trying to serve God in their own flesh, which can't be done. Apart from being baptized in the Holy Ghost, all those born again in Jesus are like sailboats with no wind - they're going nowhere in God's eyes. Only the Holy Ghost, the third person of the Godhead, can please God, because he always lifts up and glorifies Jesus. Only He can do that, flesh and blood can never. So all these born again people in Jesus are going around, not baptized in the Holy Ghost, thinking they are serving God, when they are not, even though they are for ever saved. Another thing about this song, I wonder if it's not a 'request'? I sure hope not. When the lyric is sung 'Christ be all around me', now that I think about it, since the lyric doesn't say, 'Christ IS all around me', all behind this song, smith included, may be HOPING that Christ is 'all around them', which is a dangerous thing to believe. smith is an arrogant jerk, I'm not even sure if he's born again in Jesus, I do believe he's NOT baptized in the Holy Ghost, so what you have left, instead of God's way, by the Holy Ghost, is 'smith's way', he's even admitted this in the past, so he's either a born again person in Jesus, NOT baptized in the Holy Ghost, so he, like all people who are born again in Jesus, NOT baptized in the Holy Ghost, do all things in the flesh, smith definitely is in the flesh, I think he always has been, since his so called 'conversion', things are fuzzy and fishy about this guy's entire life. He's never to my knowledge given a personal statement of faith of just what exactly he believes, he's dodgy, he's very worldly, the whole 'dove awards' thing is a joke! all praise, glory, and honour all go to Jesus! you don't sit around like the world and kiss each other's asses, and hand out 'awards', which are statue idols-shape of a dove or not! Majority of non baptized in the Holy Ghost born again people in Jesus always have 'doves' this or dove that-HEY! the scripture said the Holy Ghost descended and rested upon Jesus LIKE A DOVE, it never said 'a dove'. But that's what you get with people not baptized in the Holy Ghost, because only He can teach them the truth. The Holy Ghost discerns to me that smith is an arrogant, proud-the first sin-by lucifer in heaven, stubborn, self righteous jerk-he doesn't know the scriptures at all, and takes them out of context to suit his needs. Here's how blasphemous Michael Whitaker Smith is, they even have a day in Nashville, Tennesse called 'Michael W Smith' day. Or they did for years, unless it got set right, because EVERY DAY IS THE LORD'S DAY, and none elses. I'm glad at that Cemetary 'ASSBURY' in Wilmore, kentucky, they got rid of that Ichthus festivAL, a total joke. SEMINARIES ARE CEMETARIES-same number of letters. Those places have always been more against God than for him! ironic. You'll find more love in the darkest regions of the world than you will at those places, and at these these buildings called 'churches'. Today's 'churches' have been Laodicean-the unsaved church, for decades, maybe even a century. Smith is just one more asshole, same as the likes of Benny Hinn, and Joel Osteen, among tons more, smith even went to Osteen's 'place' and had a 'concert' there.
