Michael Buble - A Foggy Day (In London Town) Lyrics

A foggy day in London Town
Had me low had me down
I viewed the morning with such alarm
The British Museum had lost its charm

How long, I wondered, could this thing last?
But the age of miracles hadn't passed,
For, suddenly, I saw you there
And through foggy London Town
The sun was shining everywhere.

A foggy day in London Town
Had me low had me down
I viewed the morning with such alarm
Your British Museum had lost its charm

How long, I wondered, could this thing last?
But the age of miracles hadn't passed,
For, suddenly, I saw you there
And in a foggy London Town
The sun was shining everywhere.

Michael Bubie has a fabulous voice, just too bad he's not marketed as well as the late great Frank Sinatra was back in the day! He's really not exposed as much as Old BLUE Eyes was who was also in great movies and also a wonderful dancer and actor as well. Could be also that this kind of music isn't quite as popular as it once was esp. with the younger generation who probably don't even who Sinatra was let alone the also late great Nat King Cole and others. Tony Bennett though has had a great following with people of all ages. Thanks for sharing and yes, thanks Michael for carrying on the tradition of these great songs!! Much appreciated!

Eccellente interpretazione, tuttavia non è da meno quella del nostro Dorelli, per non dire di Ella Fitzerald e Louis Armstrong...

Didn't I hear that Bublé had a new album coming out soon? Can't wait!

  16. A.... S....

It is a very good song, but the song it is somethig  small

    A.... S....

that doesn't mean someone can't sing it big. Music is not confined to intent, only beauty because that's the purpose of music in the first place. Buble's rendition sounded great. It literally doesn't matter what the original sounds like

  17. M.... T....

what kind of music genre is this

    M.... T....

Well it's what Sinatra and co used to do - a fantastic band, a great singer, a great arrangement and bob's your uncle - So you could call it swing, ratpack, crooning...but as i say, it's not fundamentally different to what the old-schoolers did, so we should call it a revival, or neo- or whatever. or just JAZZ, haha.

    M.... T....

Alex Moore All I know is, thank God for the Harlem renaissance, for bringing this grandly simple genre!

  18. I.... C....

My school in doing a play called "Don't Drink The Water" and this is the opening house song and I'm in love with it

  19. M.... M....

We already have Frank Sinatra. We don't need another one. Find your own style Bubs.

    M.... M....

@mike mcgonigle hell we got better then Frank Sinatra. we have justin beaber. now excuse me while i go toss up my lunch.

    M.... M....

You do realize frank sinatra was a crooner and sang jazz? There were lots of other people besides Frank who sang this music. This isn't "frank sinatra" music. This is jazz and its a genre not a singer's particular singing style, let alone Frank's. If you aren't referring to the genre and think Buble actually sounds like Sinatra I simply can't help you. He doesn't sound like Sinatra at all, he only sings the same genre of music. Usually people who don't have any experience with this kind of music have a simplistic view where all of it is the same. They could hear bobby darin, andy williams, nat king cole, mel torme, bing crosby etc and think it was sinatra singing the whole time or call it all "frank sinatra music" even though it definitely is not owned by sinatra. Sinatra is only the most famous of all the other singers

judging by your comment, that's probably not the only thing you "hate"

    M.... M....

@thebullybuffalo yeah, i also hate popup ads but i didn't see how hating popup ads was relevant to the conversation so i left that out. hope that doesn't bother you too much.
