this entire album was important to me. it really got me through tough times as corny as it sounds. so you could imagine my disappointment when I heard their last album. I hated it. the new sound was wack.

@John Haze it's because Alan Palomo (Neon Indian) had his hand in making this album. You can hear his influence all throughout this. That being said, APF was still a really good album. Not sure about the newer stuff though.

@Pascal Leclair This isn't true, Illumination was produced only by the bands producer 'benjamin plant' alan only wrote vocals for holidays & softlight. Their newer stuff was because they wanted to try a side project 'the shapes' as a band. Recently they stated their sound is returning to a more produced sound for the next album.

I will never forget that moment - seared into my memory just like the sun on my shoulders. Epic stuff. Didn't even need any biscuits.
