I'm the thought that never crossed my mind, disguised in the evident, forever unredeemed
Meshuggah is like Periphery. Great instumentals, but the vocals ruin it all!
Periphery vocals degrade periphery Jens vocals enhance meshuggah
what a retarded comment.
@clancy2k Can't handle my opinion m8? Lol
@Nick Do you not know how YouTube comments work? I was replying to the OP.
NEWBIE
Periphery was basically inspired by Meshuggah's acts. Also, Periphery's vocalist sucks, sounds more like a core screamo. Jens' vocals is by far the best in metal.
someone love me...
I feel the same..
God's Riffs.
greatest fucking ending to any album in the history of ever...
the dip in volume right in the middle is a huge bummer.
I think "Dehumanization" is in there somewhere, too?
+Sairaj R. Kamath
yeah it is, even in this vid. i think he just wrote the "/" to mean Personae through Sum.
EDIT: just noticed there are the names in the description.
los mejores junto a los random me vuelan la capelu viejas que se puede decir
Meshuggah is pretty easy to figure out. the drumming is so often at times in 4/4 with the feet playing in time with the guitars. like bleed for example: the right and left hands are just in 4/4 while the feet do all the work. there isnt toooo much variety in their songs, they usually repeat riffs and change the riff every couple minutes. Regardless, its still very hard to play.
Easy to figure out maybe but try comming up it with 4/4 is pretty much the standard for any groove and the way they manage to bend that and play around with that is pretty amazing in my opinion.
The fuck you talking about man?
"The left and right hands are in 4/4 and then the feet do all of the work"
Dude, that's like explaining driving a car as "the hands are on the wheel and the feet are on the gas and brake". There is plenty of difficulty and innovation in their songs, so sit still, Mr. "MKJTool", and face the music: it's not slowing down for you, whether you'd like to believe that you know anything about it or not.
Why would they play 'In Death Is Life/In Death Is Death' live over this?
Probably because at 5:51 and 6:49 he screams for 30 seconds straight each. That's almost impossible to do live.
I mean... I've seen Jens hold it out for about 15 seconds at the end of 'Dancers' live, so he's half way there.
CRANK DEM DELAYS N REVERBS YENZ
@***** No, I just want to hear them play some tracks I consider horribly underrated. I couldn't care less if he hits his physical limits live. I can't imagine how he holds anything he does out that long.
this song is the money shot! Although I feel sooner or later all we will hear live is anything after obzen to feed the new feinds
Saw them on 2016. They played New Millenium Cyanide Christ and a pair of other tunes from Chaosphere.
Anyway thats like 2 years ago, it would be a shame they play live only songs from obzen forward.
3:57 / 4:13 = Supernova riff.
5:52 = Univers's orgasm .
+Yannick Martin i could replay those parts all fucking day
5.52-Plunging head on into the abyss of doom
You cut the ambient bit out,Are you insane?
Eargasm and earfucking at its best! :'D
You're doing yourself a disservice if you fail to read the lyrics accompanying this.
Almost as fucking good as having sex. I'm having an eargasm!
most metal bands suck nowadays meshuggah definws this bestmetal.
then i want to end up in hell
Person not welcome
Jade Pellicani i thought it's "ungrateful person" but i don't know latin
Yes the will is almost entirely ego anyways and the emotion is the reality check.
Nice, but .I did -45 lbs last 2 month.Open hawght.so\#moZmhDH
Love me some fucking meshuggah
I do buy the albums sucka
lololololo
By the near end of this album around the bit where he goes AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH in sum.
I literally acknowledge everything i have come to know and imagine about life, and how my will is just a small insignificant part, this is my emotional response to it. An overwhelming sense of feeling, a sum total of my understanding.
omg thats the exact same image that i had of that part hahah or the apocalypse
Sounds good!
I could literally cum to this, goddaaammm!!
5:51-end so amazing sounding
That guitar solo at 2:33 is just pure madness and it fits after Kidman´s scream perfectly.
this is exactly what electric red sounds like
AAAAAAgreed!
A lie to maintain equilibrium, to hold me in this dead realm
this last ever dream
I m the thought that never crossed my mind disguised in
the evident. Forever unredeemed
- i don't pretend to know what it means
Ashish Tewary p
Hes talking about the ego and the illusion of it, the lie of it, realising he is not his thoughts but the awareness of them.
The soundtrack to his failure.. "I" his false sense of self.
Meshuggah, more chug than a native reserve.
sheldyn holowchuk haha wow. Nice I guess
2:16 and Sum for suuuuuuuureeeeeeeeeeee
A multitude of eargasms.
holy shit this is true fucking metal
There is just something about that sounds dangerous and intense. 3:57 is where the danger is fully realized as someone come to kill you. All components are great, but I prefer tension. :)
0:45, that harmonized rhythm track is absolutely fucking great
5:45 is the heaviest part on the album. especially that long ass yell/scream/shout mixed with the guitars melody.
0:45 is something so murderously heavy that the first time I've heard it, I had to stop immediately to calm myself - I had almost an heart attack
You know what’s up. One of my favorite Meshuggah riffs.
0:45 starts the greatest riff ever created in the history of Metal.
i wanna go to hell then
:) One of the issues I have with music in general is there seems to be trends with the listeners of any given artist and I feel like that detracts a bit from the experience. And everyone should be able to pull different things out so the discussion never descends into the pretentious bs it always does. Sorry for the rant, you reminded me of what I was thinking at the time. ;D That airy part of the song is so immense.
That ain't hell dude, it's Metal Heaven.
I feel the only person who doesn't find 3:57 to be the best part of Dehumanization. I prefer the chaos 2:20-3:56
I'd say the same statement in reference to 0:46
Awesome"!
3:57 is where the weak are punished by the powerful. all bow to the crushing gravity of meshuggah's heaviness.
i love how it builds up the tense at 5:44 and bursts on everyone's faces at 5:52
@ShelborZ i want this album played every moment
@rockeur411 Indeed this is one of the most epic album closing sections I've come across.
@ShelborZ This mixed with The Acacia Strain, and Folk/Classical music would be the best wedding ever.
@EthensGleaton actually this is just 3 excerpts from a 47 minute song
holy crap 7min song ._. AWESOME meshuggah never fails to please.
This song is beautiful. Truly. I want it at my wedding. Hope my husbands a metalhead. Fuck, it's that kinda shit you can feel in your heart. Maybe I'm just crazy. :) *thoughtful stare into the distance*
ShelborZ ok i metalhead. Will u b my wife or something
METAL Metal lol
3:50
"A sound track to my failure. One syllable. One vowel.
AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
@rockeur411 33 likes, perfect
0:45 - 1:16 makes me wet.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I was walking down a street...and scaird my friend...And his AAhhrr when a little bit like this...3:57
ONE syllable ONE VOWEL, AHHHHHhhhhhhHHHHH
messhuga gets me off literally
3:57 i can't stop hearing it !!! .. my mind is totally blown
3:57 is probably the most crushing riff i've ever heard.
is the pause between every track audible in the original cd???
@rockeur411 jizzed in my pants.
@Facepalm66 Do a video dude! Jens aggresiveness is insane, I wanna see you do it!
@TeufelFaust No.
@KojiraSnake We're both right, it's the rejection of all religious and moral principles, but it has a secong meaning, which is it is the theory that nothing has real existence, hence what I meant when I said nothing is real. I was wrong about paradox. I can't believe I wrote this a year ago! I know more now than last year anyway haha. Thanks for the explanation :)
@yasminleveau Listen to Machine gun eddie. lol
The very start here is kinda like "Closed Eye Visuals"... kinda.
I go into uncontrollable headbanging seizure every time i hear the brutal onslaught of this apocalyptic music..and you know what, I like it..
@rockeur411 Oh man.
jaw dropping stuff
@Eradicateify
from*
The build up into shed could not be any more amazing
@yasminleveau So much fucking groove
@Meshuggaaaahhhhh I hope my ass comes back as a fucking 17ft crocodile
@LWRCftw If that is what you believe then that is what you believe.
The answer to the question of the existance of a god-like entity or entities is personally irrelevant to me.
@LWRCftw Your list pwned ...then sucked dickz. Pantera, sweet, Gojira, sweet, Meshuggah FUCK YEH white chapel ...meh, Suicide Silence ...who?
0:45-1:16 and 3:57-4:42 = ABSOLUTELY ORGASMIC PASSAGES
@BenjaminKuruga Yep, it sure is. Might be a bit naive, but this is pretty much perfect. Fucking amazing.
@overether Refer to my reply to XTVille
Why is this not our national anthem? please explain
@XTVille It's heavy ...Heavier than Fuck.
@mee11mee This is what it's all about.
@derekd234 Catch 33 needs to be listened to as a whole. There's no way one can understand it's beauty otherwise.
Secondly, Meshuggah doesn't make songs. They make art. This is one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard. It's not just music, it's something more.
I am partial to avacados and the flesh of salmon.
Catch-33 and Lateralus gave me reason to live <3
@xMeshuggahx Sum came after Dehumanization
wtf, this video was Personae non gratae and Dehumanization, not Sum.
@00012WW Fuck the grammys. Nobel :D .....in every Category!
@akudal964 somewhere around November of this year! :D
@akudal964 Don't forget the new album coming out. We always say, DAMN ...This is the heaviest song ever ....EVER .....Clicks another Meshuggah song in the suggestions ....DAMN This is the Heaviest song ever!
Etc.
