Glorious. This could easily be most artists' greatest song ever. Merle probably has a hundred this great or better. The gentle vibrato around 1:39, at the end of 'vacation'... Beautiful. Quite an instrument, that voice of Merle's.

Wild Irish Rose haven't had that in a while used to drink alot of it when I was young. Merle Haggard is one of the best and he did go to prison. Of course so did Johnny Paycheck (Donnie Lytle}
