Timeless classic. I was lucky to see Merle one time, in a live performance, back in 2002. He doesn't come out my way too often. I think he played in Houston not too long ago. One of the giants.

I don't know what the problens but I am not able to listen to my videos they will come on and go back on and off and on if I can't get it straightened out I am gonna close off on everything.you could leave me a text like you have before.

I had the album of Merle doing Jimmy Rogers and it was played til it was worn out...would love to find the cd if one is available...if not thanks to youTube for having them..I will be sure to listen to all them..thanks..

I had the album that The Hag made with all these Jimmy Rogers song on it. Needless I wore it out, and then of course along came cassettes, and for some reason I never replaced the album. But thanks to you tube and other places on the internet, we can still find these old treasures. A great post here thanks to Donny Boonman. god bless all.

I think that the Jimmie Rodgers tribute album that Merle did in 1969 was his finest work. I've been listening to it since I was 12. Now I'm 55....... I just uploaded my cover version of this great old song. Stop by and check it out sometime.....Terry
