Snow was falling in my face as the undertaker brought me and my momma to our farm house from Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. I was the baby of my family and I always thought that I was a mistake, BUT I FELT love from all in my family. My mamma lost her mother when she was 7. I am so sorry for your lost. MY son died when he was 46 . The hurt never goes away AND HIS DEATH is forever a big part of MY LIFE . Can I tell you how perfect your baby was and now she is perfected. She just need a body and you were chosen to give  birth to her. You must be one special lady. Merle, as he always does, was point on May Heavenly Father bless you with comfort and know that  your baby girl is  holding Jesus' hand.

Had the honor of hearing Merle Haggard and the Strangers here in Charlottetown P.E.I. in 2013....A tremendous concert !! ( driving down , was wondering if he would do , Big City )....Well he sure did , opened with it !!!! :D

Thats what I said when he passed and everyone was wondering how this one , and that one was doing , I said -think about Norm Hamlet , he been there right beside him for the last 40 yrs. lived his life day in and day out with Merle- and never peeped a word.
