Merle Haggard - Forever And Ever Lyrics
Forever and ever I'll love you
I swear by the stars up above you
There never will be any other
I'll love you forever and ever
And the salty old sea may run dry
The man in the Moon may stop smiling
But I'll always be by your side
Forever and ever I'll love you
I swear by the stars up above you
There never will be any other
I'll love you forever and ever
No other lips ever will kiss me
No other heart ever will miss me
I'll love you forever and ever
Forever and ever I'll love you
I swear by the stars up above you
There never will be any other
I'll love you forever and ever

Merle and Bonnie belonged together,
a perfect looking couple
They were great together as Bonnie was the only one that could harmonize with Merle.

MERLE HAGGARD THE VERY BEST WRITER, SINGER, BEST LOOKING, GREATEST PICKER OF A GUITAR. HIS SONGS CAME FROM HIS HEART. RIH LOVE YOU MH
Excellent RIP
Bonny Owens really brought Merle along when he first started in Bakersfield. Many of his first songs included Bonny. She was a great singer on her own, but never reached the breaks. mos60

@Natile Eyeington Bonnie Owens already had a Country Music Award when she met Merle
Of course he sounds like Buck Owens! He can sing in a lot of voices!
Beautiful song, and written by BUCK OWENS
Kevin Martin nn

very good ilove you song
Love the classic sound of these two...
His "Always Wanting You" was written about his love for Dolly Parton.
Him & Bonnie were magical together vocally, much like Porter & Dolly or Conway & Loretta;the only difference was The Hag & Bonnie were actually married.
Merle and Bonnie were MFEO made for each other. Problem is with his hard childhood and prison life he could not transition to a regular homelife. That is why Bonnie and him could not stay married. She stood by him and sang with him till alzheimer's took over.
he is married again but no o9ne will ever match Bonnie. She married him and took his kids from a train box car and gave then a home. She was awesome. He is currently married to Theresa Ann Lane.
Can any one tell me is Merle Haggard married now that dear Bonnie has gone R.I.P.
Maura Barry yes
Bonnie was a great lady She told me once that even though she loved him to death she couldn't live with him.
A great taste for wives.... a great taste foe women. But couldn't bring Dolly Parton into his life. Dolly was too smart for the Hag
Doesn't Bonnie sound like "Jean Sheppard"........Great Country Women!!
@Evangelander That's right. And Dolly Parton doesn't really work from 9 to 5, so there's another meaningless song. And George Straight doesn't really have a bunch of Ex-wives living in Texas. And John and Paul didn't really live in a Yellow Submarine. You see, they are just songs. I bet you're a lot of fun to go to the movies with, sheesh! (sarcasm, in case you might happen to take that literally too)
beautiful song..
Yikes! I read these comments and wonder just what is going on in peoples minds. This is Bonnie Owens and Merle Haggard. It is true that they are great artists and it's a great song. but does anyone really listen to the words of a song. The song is one of Buck Owens' songs and Bonnie is Buck's ex-wife, yet she is singing with Merle, to whom she was also married and declares their love will never end, but they were divorced. Kinda makes the song meaningless, wouldn't you think? just sayin' : )
Female Vocalist Of The Year” in 1965 Bonnie Owens!
Bonnie Owens is such a beauty....Easy to see Bonnie and Merle truely loved each other....
Their voices blend so beautifully!
it says Merle Haggard right on the album, hello!!!!
...was bonnie a 'oakie'...?
Don Hawkinsk

Bonnie Owens was married to the late Buck Owens and then to Merle Haggard. She had a beautiful voice. She was also a great lady
thought i was listening to the voice of buck owens, it's merle haggard indeed.
Bonnie Owens? is she related to the late great country legend buck owens?
Wow, irenebridges.you are so correct.I too thought it was Buck Owens, and that it had been posted inaccurately.thanks for posting this!!!
They went well together*****S
Thank you Shirley for sending.
I wish someone could tell me if Bonnie ever did any music with Buck her first husband
They are a good duo, just never got the recognition that George and Tammy, and others got. thanks for posting.
