I was like, Frozen 2 "Show Yourself" sound something a song I heard from Idina. Then I remember, its this masterpiece. 😍😍😍😍

Why does she stick her tongue out while singing? It’s weird

High notes need space in your mouth to really resonate, and sometimes it's easier to stick your tongue out because it gives more space for the notes

I found this song so instrumental in my recovery and healing after I lost my late wife to Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2012. She came and picked me up at a time where I was getting over a very bad breakup. Every word, I could see myself singing to her, including the "F you" line, as I loved her that much and I was that mad that she had to leave and I was sucked into loving her completely. I still listen to it today, as it still has healing power of not giving up and doing everything you have to in order to move forward.

She's is the best! I have a question for ppl who do know about vocal techniques, why did she put her tongue out for the last part? Don't get me wrong she sounds amazing but I am curious as all my singing teachers have told me to put it down on the floor of my mouth

It lets her push more Air out. when you feel you are about to vomit the voice justs gets out perfectly

It's a bad singing technique, that shows there is tension. When you're singing you should be relaxed and the tongue has nothing to do with air. The tongue has to be down because there is more space in your mouth for the sound to come out, when there is tongue tension there is less space in your mouth so the sound will be a little more closed.

I was fortunate enough to see If/Then in the final week of its run. I had been listening to it since the day after the soundtrack came out, at least once or twice a week since then. It is a show that has influenced me greatly in my personal life, and encouraged me to push through some very difficult things. Idina has always had a way with her music, but this show was the very best, the most I could ever hope for. The deep, emotional connection felt through the music, it has a magical power about it. I wish the show had done better, because more people deserve the possibility to experience this tale of love, loss, and possibilities.

This wasn't a music video, this was like a religious experience.

I was there for the final performance yesterday, and this song was one of the most moving performances I've ever seen. The entire audience could feel the emotion Idina was putting into this, and it was overwhelming. Thank you, If/Then cast. This show was a gift.

Yeah, well... Idina's unbelievable of course but... I still find it unfair that some people get 2 see DOZENS of Idina shows, while others never even get to see even ONE. That's why... For pure mercy for us Fanzels, let them at least release a good vid of the complete show... That's the least they can do right? I'll be waiting for a DVD.

I cried through the whole 2nd act. What an amazing show, cast, soundtrack, and premise. This song applies to all of us at some time or another. Idina is magnificent!

it really pisses me off when people say idina can't sing because of one mistake in a live performance, they obviously have not gone ontk youtube to see how bloody amazing she is! This woman is a true legend with an amazing talent and its horrible to read such disgusting comments about her because of some performances that arent perfect

Plus she was totally sabotaged on that performance. Aside from the name thing, the orchestra was playing at a different tempo. It was way faster than the original and that also took Idina for surprise. Apparently, they needed to rush because they were behind or something and it's live TV.

Okay obviously Idina is fucking unbelievable here but this show definitely did not get enough praise.  Absolutely beautiful.  Fantastic cast, with a refreshingly new story.  I'd love to see this get recorded because I want people to be able to watch this 5 years from now and go damn, that was good.

I saw this show today and it was unbelievable. The story, Idina, the entire cast was just incredible. 

She really is a blazing supernova. I'm so glad that she was cast for Maureen all those years ago because she's only gotten better with time.
