Men At Work - I Can See It In Your Eyes Lyrics
By your leave, I think that I'll be going now
I think I've stayed a little long
I looked up all my mother's recipes
I can't think what I did wrong
You say it's love you want, but there is no time
I realize, I can see it in your eyes
You keep staring at the floor
I used to look at your school photographs
But I don't have them anymore
I wonder who's in my old college rooms
Or stuck on my old locker door
I dream of the ships at sea, on a stormy night
I realize, I can see it in your eyes
I've only got myself to blame
Winter kisses when your lips were blue
Like chasing wild geese in the snow
Pressing faces on the window panes
But that's a long long time ago
We go to a restaurant
You say it's love you want
I realize, I can see it in your eyes
You're moving on to something more

Men At Work I Can See It In Your Eyes Comments
I can see it in your eyes that you love this song.
Esta canción es de las más chingonas de toda la historia del pop, Men at Work!
🇧🇷
Mi canción favorita de los Men at Work.
peppy song, similar to upstairs in my house, but that one's a bit more philosophical than this, though this one's too!!
Bravo! I can see it in your eyes!
Just perfection
Good memories and much nostalgia with this special song.
Love the song....
i just got this album on cd 😁😁🥁🥁
Wooow!!! me encanta este album
A pop work of art.

de mis favoritas tan rebuena cancion excelent 80asss en mi heart
Ahh those sweet school daze of the 80s.
Wow! Thanks for providing this for us!
my fave song by them. I had never heard anything but their most popular songs before my dad bought this album on vinyl. he played it one day while cleaning house and I was hooked.
Love the wavering electric guitar.
John Rees, the bass player was my favorite member of Men At Work even though I knew absolutely nothing about him! He seemed so cool and his bass playing was flawless. Too bad he was constantly overshadowed by everyone else in the band.
but that is there with any group, if the singers are strong and charismatic then only they and may be the rhythm or lead guitarist and the drummer seem to get the headlines, bassists always get pushed to the background.
I had purchased BUSINESS AS USUAL after "Who Can It Be Now?" was a hit, but prior to "Down Under" taking off. When this song cracked through my stereo, I knew that I was in for a long ride with a fantastic songwriter. Almost 35 years later - here we are!! Thanks Colin Hay.
No 80s music can touch their first two albums....this song is perfect
This has always been my very favourite song from the "Business As Usual" album. It should have made it as a single!
