I know Buzzo's lyrics are cryptic... but damn. There was a Billy Fish character in a really dark and strange Rudyard Kipling novel about two adventurers who set themselves up as kings near India. One ended up crucified, the other went mad. Is Buzzo referencing this here? Christ knows.

I travel 300 miles N,E,W & S to see the Melvins live. They should headline Madison Square Garden, N.Y.C. I would go to every show as I do as stated prior. Melvins are AWESOME.!!!! They are like an AWESOME DRUG & I am hooked on them!

yea, you THINK they knew each other...i know they knew each other cause buzz was the one that got kurt into punk and they been friends for awhile. kurt followed the melvins cause they were all friends. and who likes being a dick head?

i think they knew each other. buzz osbourne and kurt cobain were neighbours and they all lived in the same town. dale was there first drummer and that. i was really just being a dickhead with that comment.

In 2013 they will celebrate their 30th year of being underrated. Buzzo has schooled the big ones: Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, QOTSA, Tool..but also Pig Destroyer, Helmet, Kylesa, Boris, Mastodon.
They have been so very important to the modern rock world..
