How did I just discover this album now? I know their earlier stuff (a bit) and their later stuff (a bit more) but always wondered what stuff they were playing the one time I saw them open for Nirvana (seven days before the unplugged). Needless to say I couldn't find any of their stuff in record stores in the weeks that followed.

@James Menzies last night is likely the first time I heard it since seeing them play it live. I very much assume they would have played it in 93 because their set sounded more like that then the early stuff that I know.

@James Menzies how did you know? Were you at the show? I found a set list web site that listed the gig but had no set list posted for that show.

@The SickNeeds They have just finished an East Coast tour and played it every night. I have seen them twice in the UK in the last 6 years and they played it at each show.

@James Menzies ah sorry I misread....I need to learn to get more sleep. Thought you had said "they included it in their set-list" as in on the show I was at two years after that tune came out....likely they played it then if they played it so much now!

Hard to think of band that evolved more than the MP. The first few records are pretty raw and simple.. The later stuff is just so clever and fun. My vote for best Phoenix band ever..
