I'm 62 yrs old & think the 90s music is 2nd only to the 60s. 60s were great...70s pretty decent...80s sucked musicwise. 90s brought raw rock & roll back from the dead & kicked ass!!

The ‘80s has some redeeming qualities and bands - and essentially the 70s and 80s raised the musicians who broke through in the 90s. It just reached a much more targeted audience and also with the advent of music videos and cable TV it was much more embraced and analyzed and can be looked back on/archived much better than previous decades which relied mostly on radio play and public/personal opinion.
