oh how i love how meatloaf's almost unrealistically epic songs get on the verge of silly or cheesy because they're just so good, i say this because in general now days not just in music but in alot of aspects people are just not as passionate on top of those whom speak english, elaborate expression is in decay, seldom is it that you hear a man expressing feelings using english in the style of Prince, Meatloaf, Barry White, Isaac Hayes etc...and its been a steady decline in english since long before all of them too, the english language was designed to be more direct, adaptable and universal at the cost of emphasis, i believe this in-turn to impact lyricists in both content and delivery.....
