I bought this album in I guess Feb 2005.... I wanted for the song live like you're dying. That song hit me in my soul, made me feel good. Then I heard this song and started thinking how it was like written about me. As I stood and opened the cd case to read the words, the picture I saw beside this song, Jesus neon sign, it was exactly like I had seen in a vision 7 years before, when God told me it would be my time...… I dropped the case and printed papers in it.. It seemed they fell to the floor in slow motion. I knew God was coming to get me, I was still drinking heavy and smoking cocaine heavily. In the next couple weeks something awesome happened. On my 38th birthday, as I was sitting under a store smoking coke, wanting my heart to burst and get me out of this world, the Spirit of God was singing " Jesus Loves Me" in my head. I was breaking down hard. 20 plus years of abusing drugs and alcohol, 2 failed marriages, turned my back on Jesus many times during that time...…. I had met him when I was 7, knew he had a plan for my life, but at 18 I turned my back to him to do drugs..... literally..... I remember the conversation, and I saw a vision of staircase of fire spiraling downward into darkness and I was walking down it. 20 years later, I was there that morning, on a Sunday morning, I had lost all hope in ever getting off drugs.... As I walked to my parents house, I wouldn't even walk by the church because of my shame. I told Jesus I didn't believe he could even fix me, I had gone down so far..... That was March 20, 2005...…. Over the next couple weeks things started happening.... I stopped doing the drugs and booze.. went to church the following Sunday.... sitting there sweating and shaking cause my flesh wanted to get high. During that week I said a prayer to God, I asked him if he would give the desire to be sober, I wouldn't throw it away again..... I went to several rehabs during my 20's... never could give my heart to Jesus.... that following Sunday at church as the preacher was getting ready to serve communion, I was wondering how he picked people to help him serve. At that very moment the preacher asked me to come help. I knew God had heard my question. As I was standing there holding that cup of grape juice, I looked in the cup and it looked like blood.... I saw the Blood of Jesus in that cup. I was shaking, trembling and I heard God tell me it was time for me to serve him..... He poured his Spirit into me as I stood there. I felt each persons spirit as they dipped their bread in that cup..... God gave me far more than a desire to be sober, he rocked my world. Turned my life around like a whirlwind. I was set on fire like no one ever had been.. I'm still on fire for him. I haven't listened to these songs in years. They have brought back some good feelings, memories.... A lot has happened in 14 years..... that was just the beginning testimony of a lifetime of testimony. I don't know if I will ever meet you in this world Tim McGraw, but I want you to know, your music had a part in my getting my life back right with God. For anyone else that is reading this, if you don't like the road you are on, give Jesus a call. He will show up and He will change your heart and life. God Bless you all.. I choose drugs because drugs are funny, and Jesus is some random Mexican that works and sleeps in a Taco Bell. BTW, it is pronounced "Hey Zeus" or "Gee Us". That name "Gee Us" sounds like someone who just got done taking a 15 minute dump after being constipated for 3 hours as those were his words after relieving himself.

I have suffered a lot drug addiction (my biological mother was doing this) because I was born at thirty-two weeks premature with mild Cerebral Palsey one side weaker than the other... I've been calling and it's just very hard to get into places around where I live in a 200 mile radius the drug rehab places are just so full atm.
