Paul proves one again that not only is he an incredible song writer, he knows damn well what sounds perfect. Thick and dry drums, fat bass, and those velvety harmonies sounded PERFECT on AM radio. I've such fond memories of hearing this for the first time on a crummy transistor radio, and it sounded so good.

Heard this today at my chiropractor's office. Picked up on it immediately. Said " I know that song from years ago!" Now on my phone and, I have listened to it at least 20 times. Love the back singing and, most of all the ending. So much energy in that ending. Love this tune!

Song is such a time stamp. Summer 1982. One of the best songs on the radio.

I like the cool, hip reggae beat on this. He had jive beat on this and several of his hits not just through this period but other times in his solo work. Macca late seventies and early eighties had the cool jive beat.

I like the Jag that John Hurt is driving at 0:54.

I remember this got a lot of air play when it came out. I was a young kid. This song was kind of lost in the McCartney catalog. Real good and under-rated song.

My God, there are so many great songs from Sir Paul and Wings. This is just another example of the genius of McCartney. The arrangement of this song is mindboggling. It's like two songs put together. And it works.

Went to college in the States from Zimbabwe (talk about culture shock!). This was in the charts when I arrived. The horn section at the end is hauntingly nostalgic when I listen to it now.

The brass was a good touch to the ending. I didn't know this was from 1982. Chicago's "Hard to say I'm Sorry" is the song I remember most from 1982 and Toto's "Africa".
