McCartney, Paul - See Your Sunshine Lyrics

She makes me feel glad, I want her so bad
My heart is beating madly for her
If you ask me why, I'm not gonna lie
I'll have to say I adore her

Ooh, look what you do to me baby
You're making me feel so fine (so fine so fine)
Step out in front of me baby
They want you in the front line (so fine so fine)
They wanna see your sunshine, oh ya ya

She picks up daisys from a field
She loves to weave them in her hair
I know she knows it isn't real
She still hears music in the air
Its coming from inside her heart
I hope it lasts forver
The sun is shining in the sky
She wants to dance around the world
And though I'd love to be the guy
That gets to walk off with the girl
I'll go along with all she needs
And it will be my pleasure

Ooh, look what you do to me baby
You're making me feel so fine (so fine so fine)
Step out in front of me baby
They want you in the front line (so fine so fine)
They wanna see your sunshine, oh

She makes me feel glad, I want her so bad
My heart is beating madly for her
If you ask me why, I'm not gonna lie
I'll have to say I adore her

Ooh, look what you do to me baby
You're making me feel so fine (so fine so fine)
I wanna see your sunshine

McCartney, Paul See Your Sunshine Comments
  1. E.... R....

is this the same paul mccartney who was a beatle? You'd never know it musically.

  2. B.... D....

    Just amazing ...

  3. o.... ....

I can really feel those sunshine vibes from this song ☀️

  4. E.... R....

    OH MY GOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!
    WHAT A BASSLINE!!!!!!!!!!!
    A MASTERPIECE!!!!!!!

  5. j.... s....

This is a real 'feel good' song on this excellent under-rated album......complete with fantastic melodic Macca bass lines.

  6. P.... M....

    El Dios mccartney

  7. L.... A....

This album doesn't get enough attention.

  8. F.... ....

Hey, I love Paul as much as the next guy, but let's be honest. He hasn't done anything since Wings. A few songs here and there, but you compare 90% of what he wrote to his output in the Beatles and Wings, NO comparison. Sorry homers.

    F.... ....

+Frankincensed, be sorry all you want, absolutely no one is listening to or believes such ABSOLUTE NONSENSE!

  9. J.... L....

    A gem on the album

  10. J.... M....

paul mccartney is a child 70 years old the Same as ritchie blackmore getting older and older and making Music like a grandfather masturbate

  11. b.... ....

This song's melody is so Linda-esque. No doubt Paul wrote it for her.

    b.... ....

+the nowhere girl Hate to do this to ye but it's about Heather Mills. He said in an interview he wrote it for her but thought it'd be lame just to leave it off the album because they went through a divorce. good tune all the same

    b.... ....

Paul Mallon I feel like that's half he truth. He seemed to say any kind of bullshit for a time just to get Heather off his back. It's crazy how they were actually married...

  12. B.... H....

Sounds like a teenage love song to his girl. Very Wings pop sound with that brilliant irrepressible Macca bass line with high harmonies reminiscent of Linda's vocals. A very well crafted melodic pop song. Greatest melody writer's of the last 50 years are McCartney, Wonder and Wilson.

  13. D.... O....

have to agree one of best tracks on the album and amazing bass playing he is still the man

  14. A.... F....

    Sounds kinda like early prince

  15. t.... ....

lovely linda, with the lovely flowers in her hair. she picks up daisies from a field, she loves to weave them in her hair...

  16. M.... C....

    I <3 this tune.

  17. J.... S....

Aww paul how sweet to write a song about all of your lady fans! :D <3 ;)

  18. S.... H....

  19. b.... ....

    This song is fantastic!

  20. K.... ....

This song makes me smile every time I hear it. I love it. I LOVE IT!!

    K.... ....

KAG9 Seven years on and I'm still loving it!

  21. T.... ....

@campoobutt i wouldnt want to publicly talk about my dead wife who i was madly in love with and would never feel the same about anyone again. Youll notice that in all his interview he never speaks about Linda and Im pretty sure his interviewers are forewarned to not bring her up. In an interview about Band on the Run, the interviewer pointed out literally everyone on the cover of that album except for Linda

    T.... ....

I think he also does that out of respect for his current wife Nancy, who was a friend of Linda's.

  22. C.... K....

I absolutely adore this song. My favorite on the album without a doubt. Very reminiscent of his Wings career. Keep up the good work, Sir Paul!

  23. j.... a....

    go paul i lov u

  24. j.... a....

im speechless best song ever im only 10 and i want to see him in concert live before he dies :( :( ;( ;(

  25. L.... P....

the best musician of the world actually!!
    paul is a genious

  26. P.... ....

    @backoffimflammable

    hahaha

  27. d.... ....

    Listen to that bass line!

    d.... ....

    killer bass lines

  28. Z.... J....

lovely song ....for an ex-wife(Heather).....great bass guitar playing as well

  29. t.... ....

McCartney himself said this song was written for his wife at the time Heather.

  30. M.... H....

This is one of those songs...you like it the first timee you hear it, then a lot more the second time and so forth.

  31. c.... ....

    this is fantastic

  32. l.... ....

@toddrundgren His good old Hofner...good bassline, but I think it would have sounded better with a bass that cuts more in the mix, like a solid-body Fender or Rickenbacker!

    l.... ....

Yeah, and apparently he still has both a '68 Fender Jazz Bass and his stripped-down '65 Ric bass in his arsenal. But he seemingly doesn't use them anymore even in the studio, same goes for his long-neglected Wal 5-string bass. It'd be nice to see him bring two of the three out of retirement just once. But I guess as he gets older, he seems to almost exclusively prefer using the Hofner for any and all manner of bass work, I would guess partly because it weighs nothing compared to those other basses he owns.

  33. m.... ....

If anyone doubts Paul can still bring it on bass, listen to this song through headphones. Great stuff!

  34. T.... ....

@TenaciousNIKA fail for putting in instead of an, lol

  35. T.... ....

@Robohump unless anyone can post any sort of link proving this, i dont believe in ounce of this and would advise all others to do the same. In my opinion, this song was written 100% for Linda

  36. T.... S....

You are right. This is written for Heather Mills at two different times, of course the beginning of the song is when he was still with her.

  37. P.... ....

i dedicate this song to justine harrison...tehe

  38. J.... ....

mega thanks for posting this...magical sounds forever!

  39. k.... ....

    Could use Ringo's funkie drumming.

    k.... ....

    nah. Paul's drumming is enough.

  40. g.... ....

sun worship bitch, bow down to the BEETLEs of egypt. with an A of course.

  41. s.... a....

love this one-one of the best on the album -and definately like a wings track. x
