McCall, C. W. - Kidnap America Lyrics

This must be the first time that Bill Fries stripped off his C. W. McCall vocal persona and sang as himself (but still keeping the McCall name for identity). One of the many songs that should be included in the history of patriotic songs pre and post-war, along with "Day For Decision" (Johnny Sea)

This is the weirdest song I have ever heard!

For those of you that were wondering where or when this was released you right it wasn't on any of his albums. It was the first of two singles he released in the 80s. This one came after the Iran hostage crisis in 1980 just one year after his retirement. The other song is pine tar wars released in 1983. And then he did one final album in 1990 which has one more new song comin back for more. Even less known than all that is his 2003 collaboration with Manheim steamroller the album is American spirit.

He's right.  To improve things in the way the citizens want seems to require a lot of concerted effort (banding together, phone calls, demonstrations, marches, petitions, and grassroots organization)--otherwise, Washington DC is as change-averse as Hell.

What has happen to America? We fight in other countries, give them aid for years and years and yet we can't take care of our own people. Our politicians can't agree on anything from the toilet paper in the restrooms to taxes. The only thing they can agree on is they need raise in their pay.
I am tired of the school yard bickering that goes on in Washington! Enough, get over it and move on and do some work for the people of the USA, your remember the ones that voted you in to office, the ones you work for.

I don't think this is a "early" song of his. At one time I had all of his released records and this was not one of them. But it is good. Found it will looking for "There Won't Be No Country Music..."

Old 30 on a 45 Single. Trying to get Fries fan page to let me know Pine top Wars is also. Fries has a lot of releases that were only out for 1-2 months and never heard from again. So happens this 45 was in a old table juke box that use to be in the truck stops.
