This song is helping me through countless depressive states of mind where my power is crushed by my lack of courage when I need to be or too much when humble is inaudibly asked of me. The City of KCMO is the spot to be and I'm glad to live here. I dream of rapping and label owning as someone with no start with just a dope talent and ambitions noone seems to match or want to understand someone believing in there goals. I'm the man of manifestation and I'm breaking a station to play on the waves that escape then elevate the state so every kid who thinks this shit is nothing obtainable. That's hateable my opinions that anyone who try can be great. The exception are the few who got Christmas early but then always regretted there birthdays. Wait there's more to intake. Wait. I'm done with that now I need a new way to think. Fuck.

I'd be very grateful if you'd give me some advice on how you made a dream from nothing to the #1 independent artist on this globe and what affects did you have in character during the meta phase before the rise. I feel stuck myself with immense amounts of talent and charisma. I'm different but that's an everyman story if you ask me on a more focused day. wow, this is something else. this is how I feel a lot. I'm only just a kid, but I feel like I really understand all of what this song is saying. at school, it seems like I'm the only one of my kind. nobody thinks like I do, everybody seems to think the same way and listen to all of that overplayed mainstream bs on the radio. this song right here is something real, there's a lot of people who don't appreciate music like this or somethin, I love Strange Music, but everywhere I go, I seem to be the only one.

This song is so me right now. Had to drop out of college because of money. Spent the next two years looking for work with no results (even moved to Colorado one year to look there). Finally found work when I moved back to Texas & been working that dead-end job for the past three yrs. Planning on going back to school soon hopefully.

I used to make 50k in Louisville KY as a process technician on re-heat and blow machines. I came to Omaha NE to help my grandma and mom and the specific thing I specialize in doesn't exist as a job opportunity here so I work for a fraction of what I used to make. Believe me, I feel this song

A few things:

It really ticks me off when people assume that rappers can't sing and aren't real musicians. Wrek's vocals were transcendent as they always are, and Mayday produces some of the best tracks I've ever hear on a regular basis.

Strange Music is doing so much to maintain the integrity of the music industry, and hip hop in particular. While I have no hate toward pop and mainstream artists, I do worry that radio's refusal to promote other talented people will stunt the growth of music, leaving no way for new and evolving talent to show itself. Strange Music is making sure that happens with every new artist, collaboration, track, etc. and I appreciate it.
