This song has special meaning for me. My Mother had Alzheimer's, and like a lot of people she had 'sundowner's.' It causes fear, anxiety and restlessness after sunset. I used to hold her hand, sometimes all night. I always think of those hours when I hear this beautiful song. Miss you Mom.

I loved the song in the Poseidon Adventure (the original, the remake sucked). We saw her in person in Cincinnati at some sort of big promotion by radio studio WLW in the late 1970’s. Naturally, she did this song among others.
