I was overseas in Australia when this album broke out. Back then, internet wasn’t a big thing yet and the album wasn’t sold overseas. I met a friend there that had purchased it before coming overseas and I took a cassette copy of this album. Best damn thing I ever did! Listened to this everyday over there and missed home a lot less. Memories of traveling Australia and being there for one year. Thank you to my friend and thanks to MGB!!

It's a valid point. I find them hit or miss. When he nails it (and he has) it's awesome but there are definitely some awkward choices for lyrics throughout his catelogue, I agree.

saw Matthew Good a few weeks ago, and his band came out for an encore to this song

sucks the band broke up but at least we hear from him now and then

He's had a lot of albums (as a solo artist) and he's actually on a tour right now where they are just playing this album
