5 years later and it still bums me out that Animal Bones never got a studio recording of the original acoustic version which I first heard in Edinburgh around 8 years ago. Sucks much.

I don't know why people are so but hurt, I'm a huge folk/bluegrass love and generally prefer that genre, but I must say I love the changes you've done to this song. It's way more lively now.

Not to mention we get to enjoy two different versions with different vibes to them, not many bands can pull something like this off.

This song is hauntingly amazing. Absolutely superb! I don't mind the video either. If you don't like it then don't watch it, simple as that.

I don't like it either. The video lacks any message and distracts from the song. Theres less soul in the music and the imagery is skewed. Definitely a thumbs down.

Paths are designed to be traveled, intersections meant to be crossed. I love to see an artist change and grow in the journey of finding themselves. exactly, so money people on here thinking they should stay doing the same stuff which kept them relatively small, rather than produce stuff like this that will get them noticed and allow them to become more successful

why do people not understand that //EVERYTHING// in music is subjective. i think they were brilliant 3 years ago, and i think they're brilliant now. Pale Rose Sun? Nowhere Now? gimme, gimme, man. I Will Remain? Animal Bones? hot damn, let's hear it. just because you think they've lost their touch; that they're no longer brilliant doesn't make it so. The Black Keys' new album Turn Blue is just awful in my opinion, and so what? i still love them to death, still hope to see them do well.

i've been a fan for a long time and i'm not at all disappointed with their new sound.

@Andrew MacNeil i never said people wouldn't like it, i said they will lose touch on the fans which got them to this point. this album is good, a memory of you is fucking brilliant, but all in all it is too overproduced and synthesized for me to even compare it to the 2 prior EPs. 

+Hunter Kimmerle Some artists make things for themselves, and it's great that people like it, but no one should be bound by one point in their career. They ultimately got themselves to this point, and maybe that point isn't the end goal.
