Fuck it, i was in this erasmus project with a lot of people and there was this guy that had a lovely voice and i discovered that his name was matt (mine is Matias) so we became friends because of the 2 thigs in common, name and music (i'm a songwriter too) the last day of the trip everyone was puttin on the wall his internet name and so i put mine and than i saw him. It said Matt Corby, I haven't recognized him and i went totally crazy so i started singing this song and he sung with me.
Then the doorbell rings, i woke up.
Was a fuckin' dream.

Amazing to hear someone sing a song in one take and it sounds better then the album version. Never heard someone sing that much better live. Sometimes great artist can pull it off but not to this degree. I also love the Bible reference. It's a gospel sound which I love and as someone who is spiritual without clinging to any dogma or religion it's refreshing to hear someone prove you don't need religion to have a soul or be soulful. You can tell this man has been around the block and has wisdom and a sense of spirituality by the way he just bares his soul with absolute vulnerability. This is my new favorite song. It beautifully allows you to be relaxed and content with the idea of suffering. It's an uplifting sad song but it just makes me feel connected to everything. Makes me realize that suffering is necessary in order to feel intuned and emathetic for others which breads compassion and that my friends is truly the best road to endure if you want to be happy in life. You will get hurt and used to a point that you question who you are and people will tell you that you are too nice and foolish to keep letting people in with so much openness but you will also be loved and will do so much more then what you see in how you're changing the world on a small scale in a big way since it is action that is your took and one day that person that hurt you might just arrive at a crossroads finally and have to pick what direction they want to go and you will come to mind and without you they wouldn't even see an option but because you showed them live and compassion when others would of showed them rage and hate they now see with that seed you planted a reason to not be the thing that hurt them in the past. They might just choose the one thing that refused to give up on them and that is a reason to live. Become the change you want to see in the world
